Absolute best Pawn shop in CT. Steve and his crew know what they are doing and are great to deal with.

This is where old valueless things go to die. Tons of stale inventory and an owner that is less than friendly and not willing to really help. Save yourself the trip.

Items way overpriced And incomplete. On my most recent visit which I have since decided is my last visit there I selected 4 multi CD sets. 3 of the 4 of them were missing a disk and the seller still sold them for like new prices as if they were complete . not the way to do business. also I agree with others the owner's attitude sucks.

Stopped by today just to look, ended up finding a vintage camera at an affordable price! Jim was very nice and helpful and showed me all the mechanics of the camera. Definitely going back!

The surrounding antique shops are mostly higher end affairs full of pristine glassware and furniture. Although this location has some of that, the vast majority of its antiques are of a slightly more utilitarian nature. There is a good selection of stereo equipment, though not all at minimal pricing, records, 8 tracks, memorabilia, etc. It is a worthwhile place to check out, and seems to frequently receive new inventory.Update: Not open on 12/28/2022. Most likely just a Holiday policy, but it would be helpful for that to be known before traveling.

Wandered in here on my lunch break, which was probably the only thing keeping me from spending the rest of the day there, other reason would be spending the rest of my money! Not because the prices are unreasonable but rather the opposite, and every corner has something cool. It was a pleasure meeting Jim as well who was very knowledgeable and also quite talented with some of his custom pieces he has. Definitely check this place out, you will not walk away empty-handed.
