“I have to admit, I assumed this would be a Newbury Comics knock off - but I thought the selection was wonderfully curated, and the people working there were SO helpful - we sort of wandered in with a 1, 2, and 3 year old - the one guy directed us towards the things in their sizes, quickly pulled things down if anyone so much as glanced at them, and found matching things from the adult section. When he got the things we couldn’t reach down - he put all of the sizes on a rack we could reach and swapped them with sometime else so it was easy for us to pick them up ourselves. When he grabbed the adult stuff, he said - don’t worry if you don’t love that, just leave it there I can put it back - which was so thoughtful. I thought it was the best combination of salesmanship and consideration I’ve ever seen. Walking in it was just supposed to be browsing and a time sink, and we walked out with things we really liked. The other employees were sweet with the kids and knowledgeable about the things we were buying. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole concept as well - 1 meal for every $10 spent - so it was a fantastic experience. I don’t think I’ve ever even thought to write a review of a store in a mall but bravo Box Lunch!”
“Such a wonderful tailor! Stopped in on Saturday needing a dress shirt for my husband's X-mas party, that night, and Natale not only had the right shirt for him, he immediately tailored it for a custom fit! His pricing is beyond fair and his workmanship is exceptional. We will definitely return any time we need men's dress attire or any tailoring - he does women's alterations too.”
“We brought my daughter’s prom dress in to be altered. We had taken it to another seamstress and we were not pleased with the result. The seamstress at Ramani’s was absolutely amazing! She made the dress fit like a glove and it was done in 2 days! She was a lifesaver! Will definitely go back to her!”

“This is an excellent place with lots of parking since almost nobody shops at Kohl's. Kohl's is convenient and takes Amazon returns, which never have a line.There is Harbor Freight, where you can find the most comparable tools at Home Depot for half the price.Then there is Aldi's. Aldi's is a German-owned grocery store owned by the same person who owns Trader Jo's. It is a streamlined, practical, and very cheap way to shop for organic vegetables, cheese, and meat, and I say this after years and years of shopping at Whole Foods. It is half the price compared to Whole Foods for not providing variety. The remarkable thing about Aldi's in Wallingford is that it is well-managed, and the clientele is respectful. The store is clean, and the carts are well-kept and smooth-running. You can check yourself out and get in and out of the store without meandering through aisles of useless stuff on sale that tempts you at the big grocery stores and wastes time. The only time you are waiting in line is during the peak hours of the weekend. I cannot say all Aldi's are well managed like Wallingford. West Hartford and Hamden do not have self-checkout, and the clientele differs.”

Spencer's still carries the raunchy, obscene \\u0026 retro items we grew up with. their $3 - $5 dollar tee shirts now retail for $22. but hey, if you're suddenly in the mood for a lava lamp, a weed Tee, KISS posters and a gag gift ... “I had such a great experience for my first time shopping at AE! I first met with the store manager, Wendy and she directed me to a few great options of clothing I was looking for. I tried on so many pairs of jeans but her and another store associate, Adrian I think her name was..? were both super helpful, kind and patient with me! Wendy was able to match most of the clothes prices that were on sale on their website which was a plus and I was able to purchase everything I needed. Thank you again and I will definitely be doing a lot of my future clothing shopping with AE. ?”

“We've been in the Tommy Bahamas store in the West Farms Mall twice in the past month for purchases. The staff is very kind, courteous, and helpful. Jennifer, Pierce, and the store manager Kitzia could not be anymore of assistance helping us find the clothes we wanted to purchase and giving us honest opinions when we tried some clothes on. We both were treated like royalty and spoke like we were long term friends. Jennifer also pointed out a very good restaurant to eat at in the mall, which we have frequented twice. These people/sale associates, make the store, and we will continue to shop there whenever we go to the mall.”
“I was getting a gift for my father for Father's Day, when I happened to come by this store. I saw their advertisements online and needed new shirts so I decided to try them. Christina greeted my mom and I when we walked in. She helped me look through different sizes to find the perfect fit and different materials to see which one I liked best. She showed me all the colors they had in my size, and ordered the ones I wanted for me. Christina was polite, funny and relatable and, to be honest, the most helpful sales associate I've ever met. I hope that anybody else shopping at this store gets to meet her!”
“I've always loved Bob's stores since I found them in Danbury. Haven't been in a Bob's since Danbury closed a few years ago. Now that I'm working in the Waterbury area they are all over the place. Went in just to browse for a few minutes, didn't buy anything today. Lots of great deals going on between clearance and other promotions. They also have their loyalty program which earns your money back. The store itself is a little dated, but still a pleasant experience.”
