“Great little marketplace to pick up items for home. This store should really only be used to pick up a few things here and there. Definitely wouldn’t fill the cart here, prices are higher than anywhere else in southington.”

Not only that but they have homemade things too. The service is unbeatable and Sammy is a great guy. Please support your local butcher!!! This guys are top notch. ??”

“They have got to be one of the best local meat market in town, I have been going here for a couple of year and I love it, they cut the meat you choose to your liking, they season it as well.On the weekends they have carnitas to go, they sell per pound which is great. It's also a grocery store for Mexican and central America items.Overall, this is a great place.”
“Great Polish hot takeout food on the weekends! Usually go Friday or Saturday. It is probably best in the area price is also very reasonable compared to other places, but taste is great!!”

238 Gravel St, Meriden“I'm so happy Aresco's has reopened under the original owners! The owner and the staff are so friendly and you can tell they take pride in their store. The hours are great, especially if you are local and just need to make a quick run for milk or other essentials. Aresco's has a great selection of fresh food including fresh bread/fruits/veggies, as well as frozen/packaged food. I would like to try more from the deli- I've only tried the kabobs so far (-they were tasty). Aresco's is also neat and tidy. Love this place!”

“Very well stocked Asian Middle East market. Fresh foods are not so great, selection, freshness, not good. But cans and bagged foods are awesome, and many items 5 not to be found in Big Y, StopnShop. Especially spices, beans, coffees, teas, and flavors. Frozen foods are great too, Turkish simit, falafel. They have a butcher, fresh meats, cut as you like. And dairy, lebneh, yogurts.Prices are not surprising for items you can't find elsewhere.Friendly folks help you out. It's not very crowded on weekdays. You have the place to yourself.Location is on busy highway, a business area, not very pretty. Go to stock up.”
“Great place, mostly Indian and Pakistani products. Their Halal chicken is very clean and fresh. They also serve food. I recommend the biryani and the butter chicken.”
“We stopped at their display at The Terryville Fair. We had previously bought some at the Made in CT fair a couple weeks earlier at the Berlin Fairgrounds but hadn't eaten it yet. Tried quite a few free samples at the Terryville Fair before buying 3 different types. Mind you my experience with jerky is slim Jim's. Well, this stuff is miles, no galaxies above that. Holy cow, this jerky is out of this world. Not at all chewy and really melts in your mouth. I'll definitely be stopping in to their retail location on Southington.”
