very rude customer service tonight went to return something because didnt like it I used it once had it a week and got treated like I was 5 cashier said oh you cant return it it's used we cant take this back so I asked for a manager the manager came up oh we cant return this because we cant we resell this you cant do that I have to eat the cost of this because I cant put it back on the shelf when I know for a fact that you guys can either sent it back for a credit or put it on the shelf for a clearance price

If you want it, it is not in stock or in the "overhead". Enjoy looking up in overstock for a half a hour looking for a 6 digit SKU you will never find.

We had bought a high end Marquees paint that was guaranteed to cover in one coat and don400 sq ft. Well, we only got 250 out of it and it needed another coat. Apparently I was supposed to pick a color from a certain palette but was not told that. However, I took my paint can and my receipt back and they gave me another gallon to finish the job! We will definitely be using Home Depot for our home project needs! Thank you for making this project a lot less stressful!

Need to improve their delivery of dish washing machine.The machine has been lying in my living room for over 3 days and still no word on when they will come and install it.On top of this the store manager has no clue when the person will come for installation

Why have any employees when everyone is chatting you ask a question and receive the look of why are you interrupting and only self checkout that does not work without needing employee intervention for simple scanning and payment

The front desk receptionists are very rude. They dont know how to treat customers with respect and they insult the customers. We had good experience with the doors department but not with the front desk. The manager needs to train the front desk as how to treat customers with respect. When the receptionist insulted us we felt she has a problem with the race we belong to.

not as good as it use to be. its nice but, to many employees standing around doing noting where it use to be everyone was trying to help the costumer with a smile like they really enjoyed where they work.

I have not been very impressed with the store. I have had mixed luck getting help when I needed it. There've been a couple of times I've lucked out and got a clerk who really knew their stuff, but most times I get sent in the wrong direction. On a recent trip I stood for over 10 minutes waiting for assistance at the paint counter. Several staffers had walked by me and even made eye contact, but did not offer to help. I finally asked someone at customer service to call the clerk, and continue to wait a several more minutes before she even picked up the intercom. I gave up and walked out. I spent a total of a half hour in the store trying to get two items and was not able to acquire either. I immediately went to the nearby big box hardware competitor and was in and out in 10 minutes

Still haven't heard from Home Depot except for the reply on Yelp expressing sorrow for their lousy service. I called this morning, was put on hold, and finally got someone who promised to "look into it". Still not impressed.

I definitely think this is best of Home Depot's in the area. We've received the best service and the products we are looking for are always in stock. We stopped in on July 4 to pick up some flowers. And not only were they happily open, they were serving up free hotdogs. And we had just painted some of our bathroom and our dog sat down square in the paint. We happened have to the dog with us and one of the associates noticed the paint all over the dog gave us a bottle of Krud Kutter to clean up the dog on the house.

Awesome home improvement store! Awesome employees--dedicated, friendly, and knowledgeable. I buy everything there. Tools, power tools, hardware, paint, appliances, plants, and I even rented a few things from there. They provide monthly workshops on many different topics related to home improvement. I highly recommend looking into what they have to offer, just check the board or ask. Very clean, displays are nicely placed and well organized.

I'm rating for husband because he said it was the best Home Depot that he's ever been to. The customer service was great. It was clean and well stocked. Items were put in the correct bins. Yay for management and workers there. Keep it up! To make sure you know which store, this Home Depot is in Southington on route 10.
