On Monday, May 20, 2024, I went to get a pedicure and a manicure. A woman tried to assign me to one of her female workers however, I assisted on the male that always does a good job with my pedicure. She told me it will be a wait for him, and I said that was fine. I have not had a manicure in over two years however, I decided to give him a try. I was also headed on vacation. I decided on a pinkish color given his confirmation that it would cover my dark nails, unfortunately, it did not. When I got home, my nail polish was still not dry. It was very thick and lumpy in some places- just a bad job, but again I was headed on vacation so I decided I would just not return there for my nails, only for my feet.
Today, June 1, 2024 I went to the mall to get my nails done since it was a beautiful day. While I was there, I learned that I had gel on my nails so I told the woman I was going back to the place who did it because he had no business putting gel on my nails, as I told him regular polish. NEVER in my life have I had gel on my nails. I don’t wear fake nails, I don’t wear fake eyelashes, gel…. I’m just not all that Crap.
Upon my arrival at Queen Nails, I headed straight to the back for the guy who originally serviced me and I explained the situation. Hr tried to convince me that he always asks about gel . I said NO and I specifically told you regular nail polish. I said I’ve NEVER had gel in my life. I’ve never had you put gel on my feet. I only do regular nail polish.
Although he removed the gel, I was in pain because I’m not accustomed to having my nails vibrating and stuff scraped off my nails. Granted prior to May 20 of this year. I haven’t had a manicure in over two years. I still remember all it takes is a cotton ball and some nail polish remover to remove my nail polish.
Now my nails are super thin, as they feel like paper and I see scrapes from where he used a scraper to help him remove the gel. To each is their own, but I would NEVER agree to a manicure that requires physical torture to remove the polish!!!!!?
While I was being serviced, a wise worker asked me if I got my nails done there which I replied, “Yes.” He proceeded to tell me that I should have come back the same day so I let him know that I was on vacation and besides, I have other things to do.
And clearly the most important thing that was lost on him is that I NEVER requested gel on my nails!!???♀️ In hindsight I’m wondering if I was charged for it but all I know is I paid $45 and I usually paid 30 for pedicure so I figured a manicure cost $15 because again I’ve never had a manicure there before. And of course, I provided a tip as I always do.
The same rude employee proceeded to tell me that they’re not responsible because I took over a week to come back?????? It took over a week for me to learn that I had jail on my nails. Had the woman at the mall not informed me I would not have known.
I ONLY do regular nail polish.
This place has the wrong attitude when it comes to providing service to individuals and besides, why is he asking me if I got my nails done here when all he had to do was ask technician who knows good and well he did my nails and my feet. They have no problem taking your money but they are not responsible for the service???? ?
I will never patronize this establishment again!???♀️

I'm not sure how there are any 5 star reviews. The employees were rude, laughing at customers and provided the worst service I have ever had. Sloppy! My nails were messy, no cleanup and no fans or uv light on for drying. I should've known because they were VERY empty. Never again!Services: Polish removal

I love this nail salon, however I had a man do my nails and it was horrible. He was constantly talking on the phone, had Airpods in and was not patient at all. I told him that the color was wrong and asked to change it as soon as he brought the dip powder out, but I was told it was "too late" (this was before he even applied it). All of my cuticles are chewed up, bloody and sore. He refused to do any design on my nails, refused to change the color, and did not have good customer service. After he applied the wrong dip powder, after telling him no throughout the whole process, I asked if he could paint over it with a gel color. He told me "No, do it next time its too late". It takes me months to grow out my nails, and I told him to please not cut my nails down. He proceeded to cut them so short and then say "oops" and try to put a tip on my nail to make them even again after he cut them. This was by far the worst nail experience I ever had, and I walked out of the nail salon bloody and extremely upset. If you go, go to one of the very nice ladies. Chi does an amazing job and so do the other women there. Do not go to this man.Service: Dip powder

I came to Queen Nails today for an acrylic fill with gel polish. I am EXTREMELY picky with my nails and I can’t even express how happy I am with the service I just received. I had my nails done by Chi and she did beyond perfection for me. She talked to me the whole time and was super sweet. She took genuine care of my nails and did everything so well. The place is extremely clean and the prices are amazing. Like I’m blown away by this salon. I was having trouble deciding what I wanted to do and Chi took time to show me pictures of designs and go through ideas with me. Mind you, they were closing soon. She didn’t have a care in the world that they were supposed to be closing within the hour. She takes genuine care in her work. I am extremely picky with my nails and with salons I go to and I don’t have one bad thing to say about this place.Services: Gel manicures

On February 28th I got my nails done for my birthday they completely messed up my nails and on march 5 they r already lifting up i’d suggest not going there. They messed up my nails so bad. They also made my fingers hurt and bleed

This is a good place K would rate it a B- . You can walk in and be attended that is great when you have a crazy schedule. They do lack a little imagination though to do designs or other things on nails besides the basics. But overall is good.

I did not get my nails done by chi who is the best women to go to here. It took the women like three hours to do this design and I can list the many reasons why my nails were aweful but the staff was very friendly to me and took wonderful care of me
