I was not happy with the Southington, CT location due to the lack of customer service I experienced this afternoon. I went to the Southington store due to my driver's side wind shield wiper skipping on the glass. I had just bought it at the Watertown, CT location less than an hour before I was on the road. I asked the sales representative to look at my wiper. He looked at it and said I bought it in Watertown, company policy is, with or without a receipt, it has to be returned to Watertown. Then he said it was defective so it wasn't his problem. I then went back to Watertown after visiting my boyfriend in Glastonbury, CT, and was told by the Watertown location that the wiper was not defective, and it was too long and was the wrong size as it was hitting the other wiper. I was very upset about driving on the road throughout Connecticut in the rain with a wiper that was not working properly.

The store was clean and well organized. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was merchandised in a helpful manner. The prices are a little higher, then in our area, but it was useful to compare the inventory offered at their various locations.

They had tire foam directly up front and on sale. Staff were aloof and reluctant to greet and offer help and reluctant to ask if I was ready to check out.

Upon reading this story it will become very obvious I'm not good with fixing cars. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful tying to fix the low beam on my car, because I unknowingly was actually changing my high beam light bulb. Duh! Fernando Arroyo, was so nice to come out to my car to help me identify and fix the problem. It was a very hot day and he graciously spent a lot of time with me. Most importantly, he did not make me feel like an idiot. He treated me like I could have been his father or any other family member or a good friend. I can't say enough to tell you how awesome he was. Fernando, Thank you!I hope this message gets to the right people because he deserves the recognition for being so nice and helpful. Can't wait to tell all my family and friends about this funny, but sincere story. He exemplifies great customer service and why Advanced Auto will always be my #1 choice. Thanks again.

I came in July second at 12:35 to do a return the lady Nicole ended up doing my return. I was then cut off by another customer which Nicole decided he was more important then me who was already in line she had a attitude and this will be the last time thwack come to this store very rude her demeanor wasn’t calls for and Fernando seemed to also be no help totally unprofessional I will go to quest or auto zone your employees are the face to your company and therefore you lose customers

I've shopped here for several years with generally good experiences. During my last visit to purchase oil and dispose of used oil, I was greeted by an unpleasant employee that couldn't be bothered to assist me. While she was playing on her phone she rudely answered my questions. When I went to check out, I waited for several minutes for another employee that was helping a customer while the girl that I originally spoke to ignored me and continued to play on her phone.My most recent trip to an auto parts store was O'Reilly's down the street. There I was greeted by a pleasant employee eager to assist me. I will continue shopping there despite it being an additional 5 minute drive.

Just went into this store for a specific socket and I asked if the angry lady behind the counter could see if they had any and she said no we can't look up what we have available. You have to bring me a part number. I've obviously had things looked up for me at other advanced stores so I don't Know what her problem was. Terrible customer service.

Asked for the correct filter for the oil change bundle she gave me the wrong one the overcharged me then gave me attitude why wouldn't she just get me the correct filter to the bundle I asked for
