While shopping there for the first time, I Had picked out a bottle of wine. The cost was around $60. The owner said to me to try this wine which he highly recommended. The bottle cost me about $85 but I didn't mind to try it based upon his recommendation. Once I had got home to open the bottle, I realized it was a sample bottle that was given to him by his wine rep. What a complete dishonest and immoral thing to do. The fact that he tried to sell me a free bottle of wine he received, goes to show what a scumbag he is. Do not shop there

I've never reviewed a liquor store, but after my experience here, I felt I should give some recognition here. We stopped in because we were going to eat at the restaurant next door which is B.Y.O.B. The two men working here were very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable, and considering the small size of the store, they had a decent variety.

I've gone in with my husband and the clerk has been friendly and helpful. I went in alone and got short-changed. He argued with me so I left, did the math over and he shorted me $5.00 after pulling the need for singles routine. Can't say it was on purpose, but he was wrong and I learned an inexpensive lesson not to return to this store - with or without a male who will stay and argue.

Stopped in for a 6 pack of beer for poker night and was quickly scoffed at when I presented my debit card to pay. The lady quickly exclaimed "$10 minimum for purchases!" I politely reminded her that she is violating the contract with the credit card companies if they set a minimum charge. She grabbed the beer and said "Good! Now I'm not selling this to you!" and pulled it away from me. I promptly went to my car and reported the merchant to Visa. If you don't want to pay the fees to utilize credit cards/debit cards, then make your establishment cash only.
