What a refreshing change from CVS! Such a friendly and helpful team. And you can actually get your prescriptions filled! What a concept. I am so happy I made the change.

This branch doesn't give Senior Discount 10% day like the Southington store. Unfortunate the owners think all senior shoppers in that town don't need the discount.

Just transferred to this pharmacy. We are extremely happy with the customer service and their quick process. Additionally we have had our last couple of vaccinations done there with excellent results.

Store continues to decline. Shelves are empty, aisles full of carts and employees in the way of shoppers, and management does not respond to emails. It's a shame because it was a great store a year or two ago.

I bought the Shop-Rite brand Spinach and Artichoke dip. It contains two 5.1 ounce cups. It claims that each cup has 10 servings which is a ONE OUNCE serving....translates to ONE TABLESPOON! Really? one tablespoon is a serving? LOL Let's see the cost....$2.99 or $3.99 I'm sorry I don't remember exactly..... BUT even at $2.99 it is way way over priced! Never will purchase this again, even those the taste was good. Fool me once, etc.... Will READ more labels more thoroghly in the future.....SHAME SHAME SHAME

I use the pick up service only when i am in a hurry-this is not the first time i had issues with the shopper choices. I checked the box 'no substitutions'. they did not have quite a few of the brands of items i chose-here' s where the 'no substitutions' becomes critical. One of the items i requested which was not available-was substituted by not 1 but 2 different items, only 1 item was originally requested. one of my requested items was just-missing. I ordered some meat-the advertised amounts specifically stated 1lb average-one item was just a little more that that and the other was twice as large and twice what i had intended on paying-again-NO SUBSTITUTIONS-and it was a different cut. I bought chicken breast-specific brand because i typically do not purchase them at shoprite any more I don't care for the stringy texture. Again, they were out of what i requested and substituted with another brand. I requested a store brand cleaning product-it was substituted with a more expensive brand that i just don't like. there were more substitutions even though i chose no substitutions. this would have been not so aggravating had they just did not include these items-if i were not pressed for time i would have returned it all-but i was not aware until after my items were with me-I approved one substitution that was more than double the price of my original request. but said no to all the others, i was quite surprised that they were in my bags when I got home and checked my receipt-it was more expensive with the substitutions and the additional missing items. They do a pretty good job usually-and it is very convenient at times-but it is not a free service-and i wonder what happens to the people who rely on this service and are on a fixed income. More care needs to be taken-more training. I agree with some of the other people-the store was looking 'messy' but i found the produce aisle to be very orderly and items more attractively displayed-kudo's to whoever made the change. I like shoprite -- i will be shopping in one , a little further away-but stocked much better and more variety.

These guys are doing a brilliant job during this crisis. I've seen no price gouging at all. Employees, from the manager to the shelf stockers to the cashiers, baggers, outside cart picker uppers, maintenance staff, shop at home staff etc etc etc have all been great. Thanks!!

I was in Shop Rite on Wednesday in the bakery department by the rolls and muffins and I couldn't believe how it looked. When Roland Grenier was there it NEVER looked like that, it was real dirty. Now that Roland has passed away the place is not the same. I think things need to be a little cleaner or you are going to have less customers. Please do something about this. Thank you.

This ShopRite has declined. We went recently and it was kind of messy and really crowded. The store overall is fairly clean and very well lit. It's a large store with a huge selection of items. Their prepared foods are what really stands out here. They have a wide variety of fresh prepared foods such as chicken, sandwiches, pizza, or a salad bar. The prepared food all looked fresh. Their deli was good and the staff were all friendly, helpful, and quick. The floral department is very nice with tons of pretty flowers. Their produce here is usually fresh and they have a great selection. The peppers and bananas in particular looked fresh. The meat here is fresh and has a large selection. Seafood is also good here, fresh and a large selection. I like seafood and meat here better than most Stop & Shop. All the Staff here are always friendly and professional. However, the bakery was disappointing. The bakery still had a huge selection of items, but tons of items were all expiring the same day. I had to look through a lot of "manager's special" bakery items to find one that had a longer sell by date. This wasn't the case when we came here last year. Also, the store was extremely crowded and busy. We came while Stop & Shop was on strike (because I would never cross a picket line), and it was the week before Easter, but still I was shocked at how crazy it was here. It felt a lot more cramped and messy with so many people. The floors definitely didn't look as clean as usual and some shelves were messy. There were also long checkout lines. Overall, I was disappointed with this trip to ShopRite. I would have much preferred going to Stop & Shop as it's larger, less crowded, clean, has a better bakery, and I know the store very well so it's easy to find things. That's just my opinion. This visit, I would only rate ShopRite in Southbury 3 stars, but I'll give it a 4 because I'm sure it's better in a quieter day. I truly hope they're better prepared to deal with crowds next time before a holiday!

Have been my primary pharmacy for over 10 years. Lisa is one of the kindest and most knowledgable pharmacists out there. I consider her an important part of my health care team. Ryan is also very good. Kathy the tech is extremely friendly and helpful even when they are very busy.

I use Shop Rite at Home every week now, and on the whole they're terrific. A tip: make sure you're VERY specific if you add to the order over the phone. The website gags a lot, and sometimes I wonder how many high school students it took to put it together. The low prices more than make up for the small glitches.

Great prices, clean store, just the greatest supermarket for miles...

Add meat that's gone bad to the worst customer service in 30 miles, and you have an excellent reason to go to Stop & Shop a mile down the road.

Best Super Market chain. We love their pastries! And the staff...two thumbs up! Their Deli staff is always beyond helpful and super friendly! As well as the younger employees...very courteous, polite, and helpful.
