The staff is very helpful and friendly!!!! I must say they're less pushy than they used to be.... And I have to say that the clothing fits very well.... There's nothing like the fit at chicos..... I used to be at 1.5 or 2..... happily I can now fit into a one....... I feel like the value that I got for the quality was great.......... I've been shopping at chico's probably for 10 years now on and off......

I had a wonderful shopping experience at the Southbury, CT Chico’s. The sales staff was friendly, professional, and most importantly helpful! They helped me try a variety of sizes and also ordered the size I needed in the color and style that I wanted it. While I was there some “regulars” came in based on how they were acknowledged by name, which added to the overall positive feeling of shopping there. The store was orderly and clean. I will definitely be back!

A few days prior to Mother’s Day, their website was offering a $20 additional GIFT CARD if the consumer purchased a gift card of $100 or more. Two options were to have the gift card mailed or sent via email as an ecard. I chose the ecard, which than brought you over to a 3rd party website (Cashstar) who Chico's uses for their ecards. As I was purchasing the gift card on Cashstar, they also had the disclaimer that an additional $20 gift card would be added. My mom was never sent the additional $20, so I emailed Cashstar (who never responded) and Chico’s, who also never responded, instead they sent me a $20 off coupon good for 3 weeks (while the stores aren’t even open). I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I was mistaken and they are only offering the coupon they sent me. Unfortunately, I didn’t think I had to print out their offer of the $20 gift card, never thinking they wouldn’t honor it. Bad business!!

I had not been to Chico's in Southbury in quite some time. I went there today (late afternoon) looking for a specific item. I found the staff to be unfriendly, serious and almost robotic. They were not disrespectful in any way but they were certainly not welcoming. They didn't even smile. This truly surprised me. In the past, I always found their staff to be warm and friendly, which is conducive to wanting to spend time and money in the store. Maybe they could benefit from some training.
