I have never written a review for any business before. But, I wanted to at least warn people about really what is going on here in terms of cleanliness. First off, I would like to say that 90% of the staff are wonderful. They are helpful and consistently welcoming. But, it has been the case over the last couple of years that the cleanliness of the facility has plummeted and it is not just me that has taken notice of it. The men's bathroom is a complete joke. They rarely clean and the inside of the lockers are never cleaned. I possess a picture of mold growing in one of the lockers. They have no working ventilation in the locker room (the owner says it was a disagreement between him and the landlord). I have consistently brought the issue of poor cleaning to the owner. He completely ignored me. When I finally canceled my membership, I was hoping he would be humble enough to accept that they were dropping the ball and fix it. Yet, that was not the case. He was arrogant and had his heels kicked in pretty heavily. At some point in the future, he needs to better equip himself with skills for interacting with members.....he failed miserably at this. They need to get their act together and start to clean. It is not the job of the members to clean. (Shrug.....) I wish all of them well.

The Gym has gone down in quality drastically recently. Overcrowded, dirty, frequently broken equipment and days before repair. More importantly the focus has moved from quality services to scamming customers in high cost/ low quality personal/ group sessions. Most pro personal trainers have left. Be ready to have a new trainer frequently. Would not recommend.

This gym is a nice atmosphere and it’s fairly clean. I’ve been coming here for almost a year and it was better in the beginning it’s slowly been becoming more overcrowded and it was already frustrating because of how much training they do in groups and take up A LOT of space. This is a small gym already. the trainers hold the machines and won’t let you use them because they’re having group gym time. I’ve been kicked off the turf twice because they needed it for a group session that was going to be held ten min later give or take. 2 of the trainers are pretty rude but the others seem very nice and welcoming. Don’t come to catalyst unless you plan on waiting for machines or if you’re gonna join a group or private trainer.

Nice atmosphere plenty of mirrors and great lighting. Plenty of dumbbells and free weights. For the money I would expect some of the machines to be updated, particularly the shoulder press and leg curl machines. Not a fan of one of the trainers kicking me out of the racks 20 minutes before a class started.

Trainers are amazing and always super helpful with any questions (which i usually have a few every time)! Groups are great for beginners or even advanced people! Also very clean here! All the staff have been great!

Absolutely the BEST TEAM of TRAINERS I have ever experienced , and I have experienced a lot for many many years! lolLove the people, employees and members. It has been a wonderful time with Catalyst.

I am a bit conflicted writing this review. Really, 1.5 stars. Couldn't bring myself to give two. I have thought of writing a review for this business and had decided against it.. but today when I opened yelp, the first thing on the app said "rate this business?" !!! So I guess here we are!!! The actual trainers in the gym are incredible. Very well educated in fitness and you know they really want to see you progress in your fitness goals. There are instructors who are actually professionally trained athletes who have competed at a professional level as well, and it shows! They are also so wonderful and nice to be around. I also love the clientele of this place. I have only felt welcomed and appreciated by the fellow classmates and members. I also am always running into friends here and it's really just a nice vibe. People laughing and smiling and getting FIT! Great vibes. I have recently been relocated for work and went to freeze my membership, just in case I would not like my new location and want to come back. I would have cancelled but the gym makes you pay a "new members fee" when you join that is like $60!!!??? I have been a member here before many years ago for awhile and was VERY surprised when they charged me a FEE to rejoin!? And it's not like they had to even add me into the system when they signed me up because I saw my entire profile from 2018 on the screen with my old picture and everything!! Thought it was pretty crappy to charge me the $60. So naturally, I wanted to freeze my membership to avoid having to pay the new member fee if I decided to come back. When I went to freeze my membership, in the gym I just had to sign something and then they said it was frozen and I was like "ok great" and then I went home. Later that day I get a message on my iPhone saying something like "we are going to freeze your membership but we're still going to charge your card the full amount every month and just give you free months after your year is up" and I was like ".....what" So APPARENTLY I signed a contract that said I would pay $137 every month for a year. I did not. I walked into Catalyst months ago asking for a membership, not a yearly contract. They also NEVER told me it was a year, let alone any time based contract!! And it's not like I got a document that had the terms and conditions laid out on it either. During the sign up process, they stand behind a large screen that you cannot see, and then on a little pin pad credit card screen, a line appears for you to sign after the person verbally tell you what you're signing for. I recall the person saying "this just acknowledges blah blah blah" but NOTHING ABOUT A YEAR CONTRACT. I call them and tell them this and they say "well we have your signature right here saying it's for a year!" I go searching through my emails looking for these documents and I found it!! A document they later emailed me where they took my signature from the pen pad and EDITED IT ONTO A DOCUMENT THAT I NEVER SAW DIGITALLY OR PHYSICALLY let alone signed!!! The audacity of these people!! Absolute slime balls in my opinion. And it seems to be EVERYONE in the office positions there. They also request proof of relocation and STILL charge you for at least a month of services after you move. Charging for services not even INTENDED to be prov? These are the kinds of people who enjoy making life difficult for others. And also very rude to me on the phone when I consciously tried to be as nice as possible. The kind of people that are rude and mean all with a smile on their faces!! Very peculiar. Maybe they are just jealous of the kind, energetic and fit trainers and want to take it out on clients like me? Who knows. Also.. they don't have a steam room but they have a tanning station?? Gross. What kind of health facility gets away with that and can charge so much money.

The atmosphere in the gym is great! Staff and gym goers are kind, but for what they're charging the equipment should be better. They've doubled the cost to be a member here since 2019, and not much has changed.I've been a member since 2019 pre-covid, left for boot camp in September of 2021 and called my father asking if he could go in and ask them to freeze my account since I was going to be away for nine months. I came back and found out he had asked them to cancel my account, which is fine, but when I went to rejoin I was told I'd be paying double what I used to. I understand covid put a strain on things but theirs far more members at this gym now and for what they're charging you'd expect their to be some newer equipment, but no. Not worth the price IMO.

I joined Catalyst a few months ago and it’s a 10/10. Very clean, super friendly staff, knowledgable trainers, great atmosphere and good hours. Big fan of the small group classes, definitely worth the money. Join it, do it.

In the past I've worked for two gyms before (one of which I worked at 3 locations, so let's call it 4 gyms), and have been members of, idk, at least 10 other gyms throughout the years.. needless to say I've seen a lot of gyms... but Catalyst so far has been my favorite. Its not a HUGE gym, but, (when I go at least) it has never been too busy so the size hasn't mattered. I love the equipment they have as well, and they have a couple things I haven't seen at very many other gyms i.e. assault bikes and rowers, punching bags, and sleds.I used to prefer working out on my own, but have lost my motivation and needed something different so I tried the team training. Love it! There's a great selection of different classes, and I LOVE that they have animal flow and stick mobility. They gyms I worked at didn't offer any stretching/mobility type of classes, and if you ask me it's an extremely important yet severely overlooked part of most people's workout routines. I am guilty myself of not making it a priority so I love doing it in a class setting here. Especially the animal flow!!! Try it - it's harder than you think!Staff has been very welcoming and friendly, and the members I've interacted with have been lovely as well. Overall, I think its a great atmosphere and I'm so glad I chose Catalyst. I finally look forward to going to the gym again.

Just joined 2 weeks ago, so far its good,clean,the equipment seems well maintained, the staff has been super friendly,no complaints
