A really great experience. I had not fired a gun in nearly three decades, and Bobby patiently and thoroughly guided the class through the required NRA training, took us to the indoor shooting range, and very patiently guided me through the process from loading to aiming to shooting to unloading. He offered me concrete advice that I can practice on my own. I will definitely be taking private shooting instruction from him.

Bobby at Blue Cord is excellent. Both my wife and I have taken the permit classes from Bobby. He’s an excellent resource for all things firearms, without employing personal bias. With his military background and other specialized training, he’s an excellent and qualified educator. I’ve found that Bobby is more interested in helping you make the “best decision for you” than “making a quick sell.” Highly recommend Blue Cord!!

The guys over at Blue Cord are the best! The CCW classes are laid out for you very quickly and allow a flawless transition throughout the training. You can learn the information and how to file in your local city and nearby states! It is veteran-owned and operated, and it doesn't miss! We took a private course with nine people and Bob was clear, concise and thorough. His training and combat experience coupled with the numerous recommendations from law enforcement officers made it a no-brainer.We were able to complete the training requirements for CT, Massachusetts and Utah (reciprocal in 30 states) in one day.He is the best in the tri-town area if not the entire state.

I ordered a rifle from an out of state dealer, had it transferred here, they were very nice and made the transfer very easy! I would definitely recommend.

Great veteran-owned store to buy body armor before CT potentially bans it. Also, convenient Silencer Shop kiosk if you're looking to purchase a suppressor. Would do business with again and will recommend to friends & family!

Stopped in to get information on weapons permits walked in the door laughing at the sign that reads no mean people allowed. Met Matt who is extremely friendly personable and knowledgeable about all aspects of the business. Overall great conversation, and class date confirmation walked out smiling and looking forward to meeting the owners and listening to there knowledge. Overall awesome experience.??

I took the CT pistol permit course and found Bobby to be an excellent teacher. Very knowledgeable and patient.I am looking forward to further instruction with Bobby now that I have my permit.
