I have been to this salon twice and both times were horrible experiences!! I received a pedicure and the lady cut my toe and was on the phone for 5 minutes in the middle of doing the pedicure, absolutely awful service, do not recommend!

Zero star!!!!! My friend & I decided to try VIP Nails & Spa today. We usually go elsewhere but they were completely booked. We walked into an empty salon (thought it was downtime). While told to pick our nail color, the woman tried to upsell gel mani/pedis. We kindly declined and I already get gel manicures with my regular nail tech on a regular basis. While we were getting our pedicures, the woman continued to sell my friend a gel manicure. My friend, being the nicest and kindest person said yes to a REGULAR manicure; and yes, the woman was obnoxiously trying to get my friend to upgrade to a gel manicure.
I really should’ve listened to the red flags of an empty salon and DIRTY towels for pedicures. They had nail polish stains on them but to me, that’s still dirty. My friend told the woman she’s had surgery on her ingrown toenails so please don’t cut them. The woman continued to cut the ingrown toenails to the point where my friend had to repeatedly ask her not to and she was grimacing with pain in her voice. My guy did the same thing to one of my toenails and kept trying to clean the blood off my skin for 15 minutes as if I didn’t notice but I was more concern for my friend.
We got the “Deluxe Pedicure” so after the scrubbing, the woman put a HOT towel on my friend and BURNED her foot (see picture). My friend let her know the towel was too hot and that she burned her foot but the tech shushed her to be quiet because there was another customer getting a pedicure. My friend wasn’t any louder than normal conversational voice but she still shushed her. My friend then got upset and said she would like to pay the bill and leave. The tech now said she didn’t speak much English after trying to upsell us on gel manicures and pedicures and having conversations throughout the service. I stepped in and said exactly that. She called for her boss to come out. My friend told her boss that the tech burned her foot and clipped her ingrown nails after repeatedly asking her not to. The tech and her boss looked at my friend’s feet, spoke Vietnamese and laughed. At this point I am furious that my friend is quite upset. The boss said they were laughing at something else. Yeah, okay. We pay and we walk outside to talk. I asked if they charged her for her incomplete manicure and she said yes. I went back inside and ask them to refund my friend for the incomplete manicure at the very least because it was such an awful experience. The boss lady didn’t want to. I did the run down of all that went wrong and she still didn’t want to. So I told her that we are nurses and salons aren’t certified to cut ingrown nails and if they’re certified to show me the proof. She ended up refunding the manicure after that.
I’m of Southeast Asian descent and they asked what my ethnicity was (at all Asian run salons I go to) because they want to know if I understand what they’re saying in their native tongue. As a trilingual person, I find this extremely rude. Most cases you’re saying inappropriate things when you switch to a language the person doesn’t understand. I asked if they were Vietnamese because I knew they were and their faces dropped. I don’t care who you are. You don’t speak about hurting someone during a pedicure in your language and laugh. It gives negative vibes, period. There’s no excuse for that.
I would give them ZERO stars. I do NOT recommend this place for any service. This was our first time there and definitely our last time. Please take your business elsewhere!!!!

Please don't come here. It was my first time going here mostly because they were able to get me in right away. I got a pedicure, the technician left me bleeding and burnt. My right foot was burnt either for the hot towel or the bag with the burning hot liquid in it that she threw on my feet. My I brought my concerns to her she laughed at me and then told me to be quiet so others in the salon don't here it. I paid and left. I should t have paid. I have second degree burns on my foot and I'm going on vacation in one day. Please don't go there. I am not a person who leaves bad reviews, it was an awful experience.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! IT’S BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL AND A SCAM!! THEY WILL BULLY ANYONE AND GASLIGHT THEIR IGNORANCE ONTO OTHERS! I WISH I HAD READ ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE I VISITED THIS AWEFUL PLACE! This hub should best be called “The Land of the Misfits,” instead of VIP. There is no decorum and no respect! I called the day prior and scheduled an appointment with a male over the phone for a pedicure, manicure, full-set and UV gel. This was my first and last time visited this place. Upon timely arrival, the place was practically empty, and I was rudely greeted by one of the nail technicians, who seemed disturbed and angry. She walked towards me and when approached, she loudly asked me “Are you here for mani-pedi or gel!!?” and before I could even finish my response, she directed me to rather “pick-a-color!” As I walked towards their nail polish color display, I was then approached by a different nail tech, who asked me if I had an appointment and what services did I want for my nails. As soon as I began to explain what I needed, she pivoted and redirected me to sit down on the pedicure chair. At this point I was very alarmed. Subsequently, the nail tech hand-held me a short menu, and inquired “honey, what pedicure would you like?” I explained I would like the $30 pedicure, which is the first on the list and included cut cuticle, hot towel, massage, etc. The nail tech started the pedicure, and she asked me what did I need for the manicure. I explained to her that I needed a full set and UV gel, and an image of what I was in search for. The nail tech seemed clueless, confused, and did not say another word to me. Immediately, she started talking loudly with the other 3 nail techs, in their Vietnamese language about the “pedi-gel” and my legs (all eyes pointed towards my legs), as if the nail techs were disgusted by my appearance. Moments after, a younger nail tech walked by me and with a disgusted serious facial expression, looked at my legs and began to speak while simultaneously looking both my legs and laughed really hard. I was bullied the entire time and not one nail tech cared to ask if I needed something to drink or if I was ok. Remarkably, the pedicure did not rise up to my expectations, meaning the nail tech seemed really angry, did not complete the job, and did not provide the full service (no hot towels on the legs, no massage, etc.) The nail tech never checked in with me, (too busy gossiping and laughing in her foreign language). After an hour and half of loud none stop foreign language talking and humiliation, the nail tech redirected me to sit with the nail tech she had been loudly gossiping with at the manicure table. When I left the pedicure chair, the other nail tech told me, “oh honey, I’m sorry, I’m having a party” while I sat in front of her and she played with her cell phone. Seconds after, a senior tech approached me and asked me again what I needed for a manicure. The other two nail techs observed and appeared really disturbed by my initial request. I reiterated my request to the senior tech, and once again, I was transferred to a different manicurist table. Once I sat down, I asked the nail tech what seemed to be the issue. The nail tech explained that the other nail techs did not have the necessary skills or knowledge to provide me with my requested service. Even worse, the senior nail tech did an incomplete job as well!! She did my nails uneven and awfully shaped. She appeared to be annoyed if I corrected her, and softly spoke to the other nail techs in their foreign language, again chuckling amongst themselves. These individuals gaslighted their issue onto me, for reasons they did not possess the skills, knowledge, or professionalism to explain something as simple as, “we cannot provide this service." To make matters worse, at the end of the session, they sized me up and stared me down at payment time and charged me $106.00 dollars for an overall incomplete and disgusting service. It was a waste of my valuable time and hard earned money.

At VIP Nails & Spa, you feel welcome right away. Lily and the owners make this place special with their friendly faces and clean, pretty space. They really care about making your nails look great and making sure you're happy. I left with awesome nails and felt super relaxed. VIP Nail Salon is a great spot because of the love and hard work they put into it.

I will absolutely not be returning here. For starters, I initially scheduled an appointment with one person and was told that they were out sick and had to go to another person. We’re human, so I get it. The issue was that I had to change my plans around and come over an hour earlier, but by the time my appointment was almost over, around the originally scheduled time, the “sick person” was in the salon and working on other customers. Now for the real issue, I got dip with tips on a Wednesday and Thursday, the very next day, my nails were cracking. I hadn’t even done anything. I gave it a few days, and by day 3 it seems like EVERY single nail was doing this shattering thing. I called and went to attempt to get them fixed the following Tuesday because it upset me how bad they looked and they were only a few days old. I mentioned that I think it was an error with the dip application and was constantly told that it was the “top coat.” While they were filing and getting ready to reapply the top coat. I let them know that the cracks were still visible, meaning the problem had not been resolved. I was extremely nice and respectful about the whole ordeal because it could have been an easy fix, but no. They argued with me and refused to acknowledge that they even saw the cracked/shattered lines to the point I had to ask another customer if she saw what I was seeing, she did and attempted to help but they ignored her as well. There was no true resolution offered. I was told to “come back tomorrow” if it was still an issue and then the owner dismissively walked away from me without saying anything else. The issue was still very much apparent, what would be the reason to come back if it was never fixed? It’s not like they were even busy. It was 1pm on a Tuesday Afternoon. This is not even the first time that there was an issue with this salon, but what I do know is that I will absolutely NEVER spend any more money here with these people. There is absolutely no integrity here and I will be sure to continue to spread the word that they do not treat people nicely nor do they possess an even decent level of professionalism. These are the “fixed” nails btw.

Stopped in last minute for a UV Gel fill & pedicure. They took me right away ... no wait. Nice and clean place. Pedicure was nice, but nothing extraordinary. Nails were done very nicely & they listened to my request for a shortened length. It is a bit pricey, but I think that's bc it's near the mall/shops.

I love the nail tech Danny! He's always very accommodating to schedules, double checks a lot on the lengths and if i like the nails. And he's very precise! I've been to him twice now! But have been coming to this salon for years! Definitely make an appointment first though!

They've gone a bit down hill. Last manicure I had I had to keep telling the manicurist she was filing my nail crooked. She responded that my finger was crooked . She also got my finger a few times with the file. Painful.

Surprised to see the bad reviews. One of the best mani pedis I’ve ever gotten, and pricing is competitive. I’ll be back for sure.

I came in for a full set of acrylics (i called before for price and was told $40) the girl who did my nails did you not do what i asked at all. I showed multiple pictures and said. She did dip powder not acrylic which i did not want at all. I also asked for round almond shape and she made them pointy but when I asked for a more oval shape she seemed upset and told me basically i was wrong. I also ended up paying $63 which was not what i was told on the phone. I'm just letting you know since i left quite upset.
