“Aldi may not have everything you need but it has really good prices on certain things compared to other local grocery stores, especially produce, and they stocks some items that you won't necessarily find elsewhere. This Aldi location is clean and well organized. Remember to bring a quarter for the cart dispenser tho!”

“Just moved into the area and had an above average experience shopping at Geisslers. The place is modern and very clean. The best part were the two young employees they checked me out and bagged the food. This is an example of good young workers that care about their job. Wanted to make sure I left a 5 star review, oh and also mention when I didn't have a quarter for the cart which reminds me to bring one today the cashier gave me a quarter and I kept my dollar. “I only shop at Aldi for our weekly grocery trips unless there are a few things they don’t offer that I need. This particular Aldi is one of my favorites. It’s clean and well stocked. I ordered my first pick up order off of Instacart which seemed like it would be easier since I had a sleepy infant with me. And it was! I think there was only one thing on my list they weren’t able to find and that’s less than usual when I go myself. There person who brought my food out to my car was very kind and loaded my groceries into my car for me. The only downside to this Aldi is how busy the parking lot is but it’s also conveniently right off the highway.”
“I typically don’t shop for groceries at this establishment, as it’s not my usual choice. However, I must say they offer the absolute best freshly baked bread available. The aroma alone as you step inside is enough to draw you in, and the loaves are perfectly golden-brown, crusty on the outside while remaining soft and warm on the inside. Each bite is a delightful experience, making it worth the visit, even if I don’t often find myself here for other items.”

“Best grocery store in greater Hartford if you need Caribbean/African/Indian ingredients. My fiancée is Guyanese and this is where I go to make every from Pepperpot to Bake and Saltfish. Family owned and they are a pillar of the community. Please support this place. There are 100 stop and shops but you won't find anything else like Easi Spice. I'll cry if they close.”

“It has a variety of Hispanic things and they have good service, the guys are very friendly, helpful and help you find the things you are looking for without any problem. The cashier who helped me was also very friendly. Keep up the good service. ??
I found dried chiles, Mexican zucchini, achiote, spices, hibiscus and Mexico Lindo habanera sauce that I was looking for. The vegetables are well priced, the cilantro is fresh and not frozen like other places I've been. Happy to find this place.”

“I'm going to be honest as always all the c towns that I've been to have been pretty much very good produce clean fresh meats sofrito always on stock the customer service is always polite and courteous and yes I have visited this one as well multiple times and they have the same quality as the others great store to purchase your meats especially if you like your orders in bulk they also have fries that you can buy restaurant bags for little to nothing just in case you're looking for bulk so I definitely recommend if you're in the area to give them a try”

“We were in Hartford for the weekend, and were hungry for lunch as we were heading out of town. We looked for something interesting on yelp, and found the Mercado. We went in, and went to the last counter down the line, as they had these amazing Columbian Tamales. I had never seen such big and round tamales. They are to die for. Perfectly cooked, well spiced, and just simply delicious. Went very well with the fried plantains. Very much enjoyed.”

“Aldi has great prices. Sometimes, you can't find US brand names, but they have everything, and it's so much cheaper than a regular grocery store. I shop at Aldis all the time. They are trying to open another 1,500 stores nationwide by 2030. Check it out if you can.”

“i write this late review to give credit to an employee who helped my wife and I at the self checkout.
we were there thursday march 7 at approximately 9:12pm.
we were at the self checkout and the machine had issues processing a couple of items we were purchasing.
the employee was a white male wearing glasses. he was super helpful, courteous, professional and very friendly.
if every employee at every business had his work ethic businesses would make much more money because customers would return for the great customer service.
we apologize for not knowing his name, we wanted to give him credit for his great customer service.”

“Ok, y'all, get in here for this and tell me if I'm wrong (I can take accountability). Just now this happened 11:11 am 7/15/2025. The associate was a short darker woman who didn't have a mask on initially when I walked up, but put one on suddenly, I said good morning upon walking up and she said nothing. Then I asked if there are any machines that took cash and she pointed to the opposite side from which I was standing from. Cool, I rang everything out and paid by card, discovering that I did actually have my card on me. I asked for a brown paper bag which all the cashiers always give upon asking. Besides the amazing finds you can find in Price Chopper like this steak, you meet some of the most sweet and kind people working here. This woman asked me if I paid for the bag and I said I didn't but shoppers usually give a courtesy one. She denied me a bag if I didn't pay 5 cents. I just spent $50 and didn't see any harm. So, I went to this kind Spanish woman who took time away from who she was training to give me a brown paper bag. I asked her initially for the manager on duty. She was so willing to help me regardless of whether I paid for the bag or not. She stepped aside with people on the line mind you, to help me all while training an associate. I didn't get her name but I'll never forget her face. I proceeded to pack my things and on the way out told her thank you so that the woman she was training could hear it. She should know that she's being trained by a human being who kind to others and not angry so early in the morning like her coworker. May God bless you Spanish woman ? and please continue to spread kindness throughout the world. I was actually having a bad morning and your tiny gesture helped so much. Next time, I'll carry a contractor bag for my steak and @entenmanns cheese Danish Twist. Mmmm so good and it's on sale too.”
“Over all, not a bad store, just in a bad area. They have decent prices, a good selection of produce, and very good sales sometimes. Not the cleanest store, and they play offensive music through the speakers. But, more pros than cons.”

“I’ve been shopping here for 28 years. The staff is welcoming and the store is inviting. I can count on the produce department to always look clean and stocked when I enter. And I appreciate the hello and smile I get from the produce girl! I also like that there’s usually a bagger! I hope the plaza itself gets an update soon. I’d love to see some old town charm brought back to it.”
