I had forgotten about Eddie Bauer that is practically on our backyard. I went there recently and was so happy to find out that their women's clothes fit me better than some of the other major brands that I have frequented before. This will now become my first stop for any sporting goods types of clothes. I am short and overweight and I love the fit. I am happy the store is so close to us.

Eddie Bauer told me today they no longer are able to process returns at their store for items deemed defective. I bought an item, washed it before wearing and the item fell apart. They would not exchange it, even though I had the receipt showing I just bought it.I’ll never shop there again.

Not a good place to shop for larger men. Don’t waist your time if your waist size is larger than 35 or 2x for shirts and coats.

I bought a down jacket from Eddie Bauer more than a year ago (I didn't keep the receipt). The bottom of the lining shredded because the lining material wasn't long enough to be folded and secured to the polyester shell. Neither the store nor their national customer service department would take it back because it was more than a year old. This was not a wear issue; it was a manufacturing issue, which is something that should have been a subject outside of the purported warranty escape. Very poor customer service.
