No longer entrusting South Windsor Costco with my tire service.I had my winter tires put on my Mazda in 12/29/2023 and then swapped off again 3/30/2024. In both instances South Windsor Costco failed to correctly balance all 4 wheels. In December the steering wheel and entire car shook like a mall massage chair on my drive home. The report from the follow up visit to Costco stated ALL FOUR wheels were out of balance. They did get it right the 2nd time. However after having South Windsor Costco put the all seasons back on I again had issues. An independent shop inspected and said both rear wheels were out of balance. All this shop does is tires. There is a serious problem with their operation if they cannot adequately balance a wheel right every time.

What dumbass executive in charge of choosing store locations picked this location AND approved the parking lot layout? Absolute insanity. Located and tucked away in a boarder line suburb intertwined with commercial office buildings sits this Costco building. It was our first time there and I can tell you that will be my last time. Trying to get in and out was an absolute nightmare. And the chaos is perpetrated with the exit and entrance to the gas station. An absolute nightmare.

Every-time I go here the customer service is absolutely heinous, disrespectful and no longer tolerable. I wear my MMA/football gear most of the time because that's my profession, (I was even wearing USA football practice pants)/half sweats) but it by no means justifies aggressive, rude disrespectful behavior. I tolerated it at first but now I have to say something.. I've also been a bouncer on and off since I was 20, I know when someone is trying to give me a hard time on purpose. They think it's my first rodeo, I know you're trying to use your "power" to get one over on someone who you're intimidated by. Acting like you're the innocent party and then when your attempt at "bullying" didn't work, you call in the "muscle guy" manager dude to try and intimidate me, wearing a shirt too tight for him, trying to flex runway model muscles in my face, meanwhile acting disrespectful and aggressive from the start. If I hadn't been fighting groups of bullies most of my life it may have worked, like I'm sure this imbecile expected it to. You're a manager and have zero service skills. He acted like he was doing me the favor, I'm the customer. Then eventually, he decided to use the common sense I had to keep repeating to him. Common sense that that is most likely used all the time for small "sheeple" without any hesitation. Shirt and ties I wear to dinner not work, it's not in my profession nor is catering to your weak ego. My profession is MMA/Football strength/skill training, and Bouncing, with a public safety organization in the works. not in a desk job. I've had many a desk/management job before, it wasn't for me to sit on my a** all day with little actual human connection or impact on society. One lady even said walk away (in white street fight talk, not business talk) to her cashier person like this was an actual fight, what a joke. I'm not impressed by your "bull-jive" -S.Sharpe. I was trying to reach her intellect but she just wanted to really fight, not convince, but fight. Then let's go to the ring or act like a professional and have a two way conversation.Who is hiring this ignorant trash, once this place has any type of competition, it will go out of business like every juggernaut losing site of the customer. I remember when Costco had superior customer service; however, just like all juggernauts, it has become complacent, greedy, and unprofessional, losing site of what drives every business, THE CUSTOMER. Big Y and Stop n Shop not to mention Best Buy are caching up with your bulk pricing per unit. Note to the Cashiers: I have my own business. I have also been a cashier before and ALWAYS went out of my way to make any customer happy. As a manager and even front desk, if I saw a negative review in the business, I would call the reviewer to discuss how I could change their mind or if they did not answer the phone, I would message them. Your behavior was prejudicial, acting like you're better than me because your skin is lighter, and your uniform is dorkier; although BOTH of our uniforms are black with white writing. Mine is just athletic apparel. I treated you with respect, (as I do anyone and everyone earned from building upon my spiritual life experiences/development) and you were rude and disrespectful from the start. You're not God or even a god, and expecting people to live, and have the same interests as you do is called oppression, a violation of human rights. Being a cashier was for my spiritual development and I moved on to the next level of life as I used it to develop my people/service/humility skills. Get an education, be around people who do not think like you do. It will make you a better human being and even a righteous leader/manager or owner of your own organization. RACI*SM and PREJUDICE is what this was really all about. My hat had an American eagle dressed in the flag and my football jersey was see through enough to see American Fighter MMA apparel. DO, YOUR, JOB. - B

I could not be more disappointed in my experience with this store. Specifically Elizabeth and Vinnie. When I joined I was excited and was even given $80 in gift cards as a welcome gift. However when I went to use the gift cards they had already been used. Not my fault, not Costco's but very unfortunate. I spoke to Vinnie and Elizabeth about this situation about the email was forwarded to me from my wife however Elizabeth and Vinnie could not have been more unsympathetic. They offered me nothing and basically said that's our policy and we can't do anything for you. More like we won't do anything for you. Really really disappointed in how customer service was handled. Clearly these two need some customer service training. A word to the wise that they do not have your back and how you will be treated by this store.

I shop regularly at Costcos and continue to find great buys on everything I purchase. I recently decided to try the Tempura Shrimp after trying a sample in the store. It was absolutely delicious, crunchy, lightly battered and the size of the shrimp with no shrinking was phenomenal. I purchased a frozen box containing 30 count that comes with packets of sauce. The shrimp are large so I baked about 4 in the oven. They were filling and as delicious as they were in the store. I shared some with my friends at work and they too were equally impressed and wanted to buy them at Costcos.

The staff is kind, but they are extremely inefficient. It took over an hour and a half for a tire rotation, which should take 15 mins. There’s no excuse why it would take this long, especially given the fact that I created the appointment at the earliest time available so there is no backlog of cars.

good prices on mostly bulk items. took a star off because they don't let you shop under your families card unless you are listed as a user. I get it, but they only let one extra user per card. I have multiple people in my household and everyone takes turn shopping for the family, so it is definitely an inconvenience.

Consistently low prices for gas. This alone makes the membership worth it! In Vernon where we live, gas is 20 cents per gallon higher than Costco. We like saving money! $$ ka-chingWe visited the store for some bulk items. They had samples available throughout the grocery section which we walked past a few times without so much as a glance. BUT.... one of the employees was heating up garlic, ginger and soy salmon. Aromas were wafting here and there. As we were getting ready to leave, I just HAD to taste it because it smelled so good! And yes, we bought some! Freezer section - you'll be glad you did! #getsome

Awesome place for replacing tires! We replaced four tires and the total was about $300 lower than local auto service. Justin helped us on phone and in store, including choosing the right tire models, schedule an appointment, and checking the tire pressures after replacement. The staff at the Costco tire center are professional and friendly. Highly recommend!!

We bought a new Samsung washer from Costco in July 2022. It's been broken longer than it has worked. Months of laundromats. Repair guy on his way out a 4th time. Asked Costco to help us with an exchange. They won't stand behind what they sell. We're going to find a way to dump it at Costco's front door. That will be the last time we go to Costco.

Talked with Jim, Tire Center, by phone and although it was 15 minutes before closing, he provided good advice and found the tires I needed.

I've always liked Costco, but I recently moved and each location is so far! I received notification that my membership is going to renew at the end of December, and since I'm not using it thought I would cancel. Honestly, the most complicated thing. Can't do it online, can't do it via the customer service number, can't do it via the store phone, only option is in person. Eight phone calls later and I still can't cancel!! I really dont feel like driving an hour to cancel this membership, but seems there is nothing else I can do. The woman I spoke to at the store said I can prevent the renewal process online, without actually cancelling, but didn't know how to do it. Yikes, Costco, love a good membership scam!

I really like this Costco. It has become a weekly occurrence for us to make a trip here. I love that it's not overly packed and so everything seems to be in stock at all times. The customer service there is great and the samples are usually fresh. The prices are reasonable as well.I would say this is one of the better Costco's in Connecticut.
