“My father has a sentimental attachment to a certain hard to find and rare bourbon. After searching for months, countless calls and road trips with no luck I finally reached out to the distributor who pointed me to Craig at South Side. They had not one but two bottles! The staff here are absolutely amazing.Most local places in Glastonbury I had called acted like they had no idea what I was talking about which if this is your profession then that is impossible. I would have to guess these rare bottles are hiding in back but Craig and his staff were more than happy to help me.My 80 year old father will over the moon when he opens this gift. Can't express my gratitude enough or how amazing this local business is. This is my new go to spot and I suggest you make it yours too!”

“Good size store with a great selection. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The owners clearly understand the principles of great customer service. When I desperately needed two bottles of wine for dinner, and didn't have a car that day, I called around a few places to hear "no we don't deliver." Then when I called Manchester Liquor, Joey, one of the owners, not only arranged to have it delivered, but he made sure I had it in about an hour. They are just incredible humans, and I highly recommend you give them your business as often as possible.”

“My favorite liquor store. What does that say about me?! Discussion for another time. I'll go out of my way to go to S&P. If they don't have something I want, they'll get it. I'm always looking for recommendations and ideas, they have the answer. When my nephew told me about peanut butter whiskey, I was so intrigued and couldn't wait to try it! It's made by screwball! So when I asked "my guy" at S&P about it, he said all of CT was a-buzz about this whiskey and due into the state December 1st. . Unless I wanted to drive to NY or NH, I had to wait. So wait I did and on that first Tuesday of December, my guy had the case of screwball in the back of the store, waiting for me to come and get my bottle(s)! I should have about 30 check-ins here, again, what does that say about me, but moving forward...”
