“I had a great experience here. I made an appointment to replace 4 sensors. I paid for them, the car went in. When I returned, they informed me that only one needed replacement and they were refunding the $111 I paid for the others. In a world of dishonest shops, this restored my faith. Also, the staff was friendly and made me completely comfortable. Miguel is hilarious.”

He was professional and explained a lot of facts to me about the tires and balancing and took extra time to balance these tires to get them well above the nominal figures. These rims were gloss black powder coated and he installed these tires with no marks at all. Refreshing to have someone like Oscar really care about his job. I would use this service again and recommend them to my family and friends.”

“I was told by Mitchell Subaru my 2016 Subaru Forester needed a full engine reseal which would be $5k… I don’t know who has that kind of money lying around but it’s definitely not me! I called Village Garage for a second opinion and even on the phone, Mel said my 2016 should not need an engine reseal. I brought it in the next week and sure enough—Mel calls me and tells me there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my car and he didn’t know why Mitchell Subaru told me I needed any work done. I’m SO thankful for saving $5k!! I was definitely going to have to take out a loan had I moved forward with the repair. Will definitely be going back to Village Garage for any future maintenance and repairs!”

“Had an oil change at Midas. They said I had oil in my coolant. Took it to Subaru dealer, they said it was a head gasket and would be $5000+. I took it to Route 44 Tire on a recommendation. They said it would be under $2000. But when they did diagnostic it was something really simple. A $100 part and with labor the total bill was about $200. They could have done the head gasket and charged me $2000. But were honest and only replaced what was needed. And I will be sending a letter to Subaru's corporate office.”

“Wonderful company to do business with. I’ve been buying tires and wheels there for over 10 years now and they have always been a great experience. Recently, I bought a set of wheels and I lost the lug nuts and centering rings so I called them up and they sent me out a new set and rings at no additional charge even though it was completely my fault. “I made an appointment to get 2 new tires. Milton and Jose at BJ's Tires took a look at the two tires I was keeping and noted that the newer model of my Michelin tire had a completely different tread design that would affect the quality of the ride I would have so they let me know this up front. So I didn't get those tires but instead waited on their research. Later in the day they found tires with the same tread design and they ordered them for me. I'm in the process of setting up an appointment. I want to thank Milton and Jose for taking the time to pay attention to the finer details of buying tires. Excellent customer service.”

“The Bloomfield, CT Firestone went above and beyond my expectations. I am an independent woman living an hour away from both work and family and every time I get either a flat tire or engine issues, I panic while Firestone always makes time to service my car. Even if they need to keep the car overnight, I still trust the fact that they will receive the part to make my car properly run again. The manager pulled me in the mechanic/ technician area to show me how damaged my rotors were and showed me the filter so that I could decide if I wanted to move forward with their service.
