“I love this grocery store! Family owned, always accommodating and offers great quality of foods with many options. The only suggestion I have for management is to offer a secure app for your delivery, as you may get more customers. I know I would opt for delivery, but I'm not comfortable Ieaving my credit card on a voicemail.”

“Such a cozy shop with a wide variety of British snacks, beverages, royal-themed tchochkies and other handpicked goods. The owners are lovely and straight from the UK, making every visit feel so incredibly authentic I feel like I'm back in London. And let us not forget that gorgeous classic red phone booth right out front.

Can't wait to come back for one of their tea party experiences.”

“Simsbury BigY is awesome! They actually cut meat in the meat department! If your tired of the prepackaged vacuum packed cuts of meat than this is tge place to go!”

“Fun fact: Stop and Shop (in Rhode Island) was my first job as a teenager; it's come a long way since then.

They now offer employee discount and a higher starting wage. This particular S&S is really new and high-tech looking. They have better self scan systems and handheld self scanners. I recommend using the self scanners to save on time; just make sure you have a stop and shop card. The self scan kioks were a little finicky but once you're used to it, it runs smoothly; they have security in place and alerts the employees of any issues. The employees at the self checkouts were very helpful. They still have the S&S card, you can easily sign up at the service desk or online, to get sale items. If you don't have a card, just ask the employee to scan one for you.

The service provided by the other employees there on our recent trip was good; deli and seafood counters specifically. The aisles were organized and fully stocked; the prices were average to above average (it's no Aldi). My kids were very entertained by the robot roaming around! (And so were we) We surely didn't have that back in the early 2000's; we've come a long way with technology. Parking was plentiful and when we went (Friday evening) it was quiet. This has become my new favorite Stop and Shop!”
