Tired to get my iPhone 8 repaired. Called ahead of time. Machine directs me to India. She tells me they can fix it and I can make an appointment. I follow the rules show up early. Some greasy kid finally helps me just to tell me they don’t have the parts. Jokesquad

I have done business with this store for many years. It's over. My kitchen TV died so I planned to go to pick one up at the local store. Before I made the trip, I thought it would make sense to call the Electronics department and make sure the make and model I had found on their site was, in fact, in stock. I called the *local* number, expecting to be quickly directed to the appropriate department and, in a few minutes, establish they had the product. Instead, I found myself talking to someone who had a thick Indian accent that was almost impossible to understand, which was not helped by the fact there was a constant din of noice in the background, almost as though she was working in a boiler room atmosphere. (Almost? Ha). So I thought, maybe I hadn't called the local number, looked it up and dialed it. The automated speaker said she would connect me with "one of our national operators." Which Nation was that? Right back to a wait for one of their overseas operators to pick up. I hung up. Best Buy is now off my list of stores to trade with.

The guys at Best Buy seem to have done a good job putting my new stereo in my van. I cannot say the same about the corporation itself do not like having to deal with corporate offices they suck.I was on the phone with the company many times and they were horrible.

Made an attempt to have bestbuy install a remote starter for my vehicle and was on hold for 20 mins as well as having to deal with a confusing and totally irritating automated system... once i got a human being he said i will transfer you to someone to assist you and as he did - i ended up in the PHILLIPINES...really... how the hell can anyone there tell me when I can get something done when they could not even speak the language I was speaking... because of this - i would give less than a one start but it is not available... they sold and set up an iphone for me which worked great - it is too bad these guys don't do the remote starters as they seem to be the only people that can do a job right as i seem to not be able to get through to anyone that can actually do anything for me on this subject... very, very disappointed and will look for some other company to do the sale and the complete install for me - one i can trust... ATTEMPTED IN THE WEST SIMSBURY STORE 10/30/2021...

Bad customer service. You can not call the store directly. I came to the store and found out that they do not do repairs on the console I brought in. It would have been a lot easier if I could have just called the store directly. I hope Amazon puts you out of business soon.

This review is for the geek squad team They're absolutely awesome, super friendly and nice. I seriously don't have anything bad to say about them, only good things. I took my 350z there to get my radio installed and best buy messed up some stuff and canceled the parts they needed for the install. The guys from Geek Squad (i wish I knew their names so I would mention here) helped me out and booked my appt for a week later so i would have time to get the right part through a website that was even cheaper than through best buy. Anyways they did such an amazing job and it only took 40 mins! Thank you guys for the amazing customer service!!

Stopped by for a TV I knew exactly What I wanted Chase sales associate took me right to where it was and walked me over to them. He had the store priced match it without a single complaint and with a big smile carried it right out to the car for me I was in and out in five minutes flat with a new 58" flat screen TV. This was best shopping experience I've ever had. Thank you so much I will definitely be back Ask for Chase he was the best Thank you Chase

The worst customer service. I wanted a simple quote on a cracked cell phone screen. Went to live chat and they cousin they'll because they are sales. Gave me a link to another chat for their Geek Squad. The agent could not speak English well and asked questions that made no sense. Finally was able to get an answer: she didn't know, I have to come in the store. Well that's what I'm trying to avoid. So tried calling. TWO times on hold for over 20 minutes and finally gave up. You can imagine that I will NOT be going to this store!

Had an appointment to pick up a computer from Geek Squad for 10:20 AM. When I arrived I found the store closed with gate down and no visible employees. Apparently they don't open until 11 AM now. (They close at 7). I returned at 11:10. The on-duty manager said I was supposed to knock on the door. She sent me to the Geek Squad and told me I could make another appointment !!! Fortunately the Geek Squad tech was very responsive and had my lap top out in a flash. Suggest they leave a phone # for Geek Squad customers with appointments to call so someone can let them in. Place appeared quite clean. Plexiglass barriers, hand sanitizer and single use pens.

Brand new prebuilt computer arrived with dead ram and they won't lift a finger to help me. I've had the thing five days. Buy your stuff online.

Bought the year package with geek squad. Made an appointment brought my computer in that was having trouble connecting with the internet. Woman behind the counter looked at it real quick and determined the mother board was shot and I needed a new computer. They had me looking at computers between $500 and $800 dollars. Brought my own computer home and muddled around with it for 30 minutes and fixed the problem (I'm not a computer person).

I went with somewhat of a closed mind based on negative experiences my mom had but was thoroughly surprised by the excellent customer experience from a young guy named Tim. Tim helped me get the best and cheapest deal on a new Samsung phone. He was extremely knowledgeable about Verizon, Samsung, and 5G. He tried very hard to fix a problem transferring the service on my phone. Tim explained the contract and pricing very well, and was patient when he had to repeat himself in answering my questions. He clearly enjoys working there and I will be recommending to others that they ask for him when they go to this store. Keep up the good work - you definitely give this store a better reputation than some of your coworkers. Thanks Tim!

I visited this store to buy a new cell phone as my old one broke and I was about to go out of town in 2 days. The sales person who came out to my car acted like he was afraid to talk to me, though I was wearing the required mask. His attitude and general unhelpfulness was a problem and he also sold me the wrong phone. "You just go home and set it up" was the most information I could get out of him an "we don't do that here" was the other piece of info. Little did I realize he'd sold me the wrong phone - a prepaid phone instead of one compatible with my current plan.It took me EIGHT SUBSEQUENT HOURS, a visit to a Verizon store and another visit to the West Hartford Best Buy Store before I realized the phone he sold me was wrong. The West Hartford Best Buy to whom I went third was very helpful, knew what the problem was and came close to resolving it, but was near closing hours and we couldn't reach Verizon. They did instruct me though as to how to resolve the problem with Verizon. I then called verizon today, Saturday. It took them Two More hours to fix the mess, due to it being the wrong phone but were finally able to work around the problem and get me hooked up. Thanks to the helpfulness of The West Hartford Best Buy store in pointing me int he right direction. Those lost 8 hours wouldn't have happened if 1) the rep hadn't sold me the wrong phone - and returns are difficult and 2) had been more focused on customer service instead of self protection. Okay I know we're all under a strain with new rules but the two above things caused me a whole day out of my life that wouldn't have happened had I gone to a different place, customer-focused place to buy my phone. Much customer service coaching needed here.
