You want to speak to someone, no the recorder for a refill that hasn't been in stock for more than two weeks ?

Phone system not good. Was trying to call pharmacy but you need to talk to the system or press number. The system kept redirecting me back. My issue was not in their menu. When I went there in person I told the associate the issue all she said “thats the best way to contact us, did you leave a message ?“. I told her “Im telling you the system kept redirecting me back to the menu and did not gave me the option to leave a message “ I was trying to save myself a trip. I am disabled and got there and made a line. I haf to speak to a pharmacist for my issue. Then left to call my mail order to cancel my prescription so I could get it at CVS ((an antibiotic). To go back make line again speak with pharmacist for him to pulled my prescription to fill it. In the past this has happened that my DR mistakenly sends prescription to mail order instead of cvs.they need to put the old phone system or add more options for people to pick. It’s very frustrating talking to a machine and not recognizing the issue.

This place has been the worst CVS in the history of the world. They are closed for lunch from 130 to 2. Got there at 1:45 and was there until 245 and they still weren’t open in the drive-through. How can these people be employed?

This is a terrible pharmacy. They are always understaffed, never answer the phone, and it can take days for them to refill a prescription. I've had to go and wait for them to fill prescriptions when I submitted the request days earlier and ran out of the meds. A couple of the staff and pharmacists have been there for years and are terrific, but their recent hires are horribly rude and disagreeable. I had used this pharmacy for 20 years, but recently transferred my prescriptions to another CVS because of the poor customer service.

Just a friendly suggestion, that it would be helpful if the pharmacy is closed for lunch that when you’re calling for the pharmacy that the automated system tells you that they are closed for lunch. Otherwise you are sent into the abyss of hold time, not knowing they are on lunch.

First off I'd like to say that this is a review of the pharmacy itself and not the retail store. The retail store is fine. This CVS location is the worst pharmacy I've ever been a customer of. I have had so many negative experiences here that it's hard to keep track. I can go days without hearing back about my prescription refills being ready. When I call to check in I'm told they're in process and then suddenly they're ready an hour after my call. One time after waiting two days I was told it's because I didn't expedite them. I'm fairly certain it doesn't take that long to fill prescriptions when they're not expedited. Seemed like gaslighting. I've lived in cities and used high volume pharmacies and they're able to get prescriptions completed an hour after I refill. To add to this, many times my prescriptions are not processed correctly, failing to go through my insurance. Therefore, I've learned I've been paying more for months. When I finally figured this out a worker told me that it's because whoever did it didn't know the proper code to use. I was told I couldn't get refunded for all the months I paid more. This pharmacy is never staffed properly. Sometimes not staffed at all and so they don't open. Oh and good luck getting them to answer your call. I wish corporate knew how terrible this pharmacy is, because I have used other locations and they function fine. There are some SERIOUS issues at this pharmacy and they need to be addressed. This pharmacy is super close to my home and that's why I've used it. However, I've finally reached a point where I'm going to drive further just to use a different pharmacy.

It's bad enough that they are understaffed; but the staff is poorly trained. Four people in line and only 1 person for pharmacy. A car pulls up to the drive in and a staffer in back drops what they were doing to attend to the car. But they couldn't help at the counter? Counter person didn't call for a second ringer until 5 people were in line and then, no one came to help so she left the counter to find someone to help. This has become a daily event at this pharmacy.

CVS is hands down the WORST place to fill prescription and I don't just mean this location. Talking to a human is near impossible. Id recommend dirty mike and the boys behind Walmart give you mystery meds before recommending any CVS location.

5 people working at the pharmacy. Only 1 "sort of" working the counter. The line is all the way down the aisle. I wish I could say that this was my experience only once, but it happens pretty much every time. Half of the time, they don't even have my script ready, despite having received a notification for it. Please fire the doorknobs that work at the Simsbury location, CVS.

The flu/covid vaccine line was backed up for hours - I was there for 5:30pm scheduled appointment and people told me in line that they had 4:30 appointments and were still waiting. I didn't even make it to the check-in counter after waiting in that line for 20 minutes and getting yelled at an employee for standing in the wrong line (everyone in front of me was also waiting to check-in for a vaccine) and so I finally left. Schedule fewer people for each time slot!!

This CVS is located as part of a larger plaza, but feels like it's in its own space. There is a small parking area to the right of the store to save you from crossing the street, and more parking with a road between the lot and the store. There's a mailbox next to the entrance if you have mail. I went after the pharmacy closed, and it was dead. Yet the cashier gave his hello as soon as I walked in, asked if I needed help.... I'm not sure there was anyone else working. But they have self check out so who needs extra humans? The store is fairly large, and pretty clean. It was a standard store though, with everything you need or want from a CVS. No comments on the pharmacy because I had no interactions with them.

Closed early for break when I went to purchase Cold Medicine at the pharmacy. Sick as a dog, just ring me up and hand me the box. Thanks for nothing. Won't be back to this location.

If I could leave 0 or negative stars here, I would. I’ve gone to this CVS out of convenience in location for 3 years. Not ONCE has my experience with the pharmacy been positive. The drive thru line is always 5+ cars long and I am not exaggerating when I say that the wait is never under 40 minutes. They never request or refill prescriptions on time, and will state they never received a request for refill, even when the doctor is on the phone stating they’ve sent multiple requests 2-4 weeks prior. Whomever is at the pharmacy drive thru window never seems to know what’s going on, yet when you call (which is a whole process in and of itself with the automated voice messenger) the pharmacist that answers the phone has an entirely different answer/perspective on the refill and you then have to get BACK IN LINE. This cvs pharmacy is honestly atrocious. I only continue to go out of location convenience between work and home. 0/10 recommend.

The cashier made the visit pleasant and that is important to me.
