Amazing trainer - Truly cares about the dogs that come into her life. Provides plenty of resources via video, links, and will show you homework to do if you have difficulty grasping a concept with no frustration or issue. Would 100% recommend.

Donna Gleason is a consummate professional with a vast store of experience in working with dogs, yet her approach is kind, sensitive, and full of good humor. I contacted Donna after a biting incident with our 18-month puppy. Donna came to our home to work with us and our dog (who is a rescue), observed our family dynamic, and provided specific and personalized strategies for adjusting both human and canine behavior. During our four sessions together, Donna guided us in thoughtful and easy to implement training, helped us to recognize signs of stress in our dog, and calmed our fears as first-time dog owners. Her follow-up emails, with helpful links to videos and articles were also greatly appreciated. I would recommend Donna Gleason without reservation.

Donna has Pluto’s best interest at heart. My Pluto is a very cute stubborn hound. He’s a rescue that has a lot of anxieties. I have to be honest and say that Donna’s suggestions have been more helpful than the 3 different vets we have seen! We kept getting the “that’s just how he is” response from them.She spent time getting to know him before teaching us how to better approach him and his needs. One of his issues and anxieties was with eating. He has gained 7lbs since following Donna’s suggestions! She made it clear from the beginning that she was here for Pluto and that her goal was to help Pluto live more comfortably and happily.Pluto tried to nip at our first trainer after introducing the ‘sit’ command. Donna had Pluto sitting, waiting, and leaving it in weeks. What worked best for Pluto was that she took the time to see what he needed and what would work best for him. It’s not a one size fits all type thing. She studied his body language and kept trying until she found something that worked.I highly recommend Donna as a trainer. The fact that I have been able to contact her with emergencies outside of any training session makes me believe that I am working with someone that cares and knows her stuff!

Donna was a fantastic trainer, she was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with us. Donna helped us through behavior issues with our dog and we were given easy to follow, manageable exercises to work on. She truly cares about animals and teaching owners how to understand their dog’s behavior.

Donna set us on the right path with her puppy class. She gave us the best advice on how to train our puppy based on her temperament and it was opposite of what the other trainers were telling us. She was so right! We learned how to best deal with our puppy and continue to practice with her every day.

Donna is an amazing dog trainer and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to work with her! I contacted Donna out of desperation, the relationship between my 1 1/2 year old dog and I had deteriorated to a point where I was dreading time spent at home. Donna came to my house and we discussed the issues as my dog spent 15 minutes barking at us to the point I was in tears. Donna helped me to understand why my dog was not acting in a manner I wanted and how to reshape his behaviors. She identified the issues and helped us both gain confidence, skills and most importantly a harmonious household. I was shocked when Donna asked me to join her Canine Good Citizen class and immediately set a goal for my dog to become a "Mediocre Citizen" and just make it through the 6 classes, not expecting to ever be able to get him to perform the test without food motivation. Amazingly, with Donna's calm demeanor, and helpful encouragement, my dog was able to become a Canine Good Citizen! He has surpassed my expectations and I attribute all of his accomplishments to his amazing trainer! Thank you with all of my heart!

Donna and Emily were amazing. I had an out of control Goldendoodle and was at wits end. After 3-4 sessions with them he is a different dog! They calmly and lovingly taught me how to achieve the results I wanted and the process became fun and rewarding for both Rufus and I! He gets many compliments on his behavior. I have recommended TLC to numerous people.

Donna provided my wife and I with proper tools and techniques to take desired behavioral steps in the right direction with our two crazy Catahoula Leopard Dogs. She trained us, so we can train them! We are very grateful for our experiences with her.

Donna is a compassionate, effective, professional, delightful person and dog trainer. My husband and I needed help training our new puppy, and Donna put together a plan that covered the basics, of course, but most important, she addressed problems as they arose. When one technique didn't work, she could see our frustration and quickly developed an alternate plan. With clear, written instructions, we learned to understand what to do (and not do) to get our rambunctious puppy to listen. We learned so much about dogs and how they think, thanks to Donna. Now our 5-month-old puppy is a pleasure to be around instead of a source of tension. (She could really open a side business as marriage counselor, as she helped me and my husband address our differences in dealing with our puppy.)
