Talked to post master Jennifer to hold a miss addressed package, instead I got a call an hour after having a nice conversation with her over the phone. I picked up to hear a rude woman who is very insulting and hung up on me.

Incredibly rude, zero customer service skills. Jennifer was extremely unprofessional and should not be allowed to work customer facing. Sad. Highly suggest avoiding this location.

Horrible service and mail carrier. The mail carrier or supervisor put a hold on several residents mail because they suddenly did not like the mail box that was there for years or maybe just felt a bit disgruntled or on a power trip . This facility should not be trusted to hold any one’s mail and needs to provide back up for the mail hold with pictures. The so called “postmaster” was the rudest and is not professional . She advised that she would go and check out the mail boxes that day. She never did and people are left not knowing what to do or when they will ever get mail delivery . There needs to be some sort of advance notice and protection for the customers when this sort of unethical behavior is practiced by the Shelton Post Office on Forrest Street. If they are not a full service post office then perhaps Shelton needs one that respects the customers and can deliver what they need to do as a business. Hopefully the Consumer Affairs for the US Postal Service will investigate .

Not sure why this post office has such a hard time delivering and sorting mail but nothing ever gets delivered in a timely manner.

Just poor service. My mail carrier doesn't collect my outgoing mail too often. Sometimes my outgoing mail is with my delivered mail but the flag is down. I received a postcard from the USPS to put food out for needy families and they would collect it, the food has been bought and put outside with the postcard attached to it but they won't collect it!! Also, no one answers the phone at the 922 #. I also know of mail that has been sent to me by family members but it's never been received.

6 months ago I had a problem with my mail delivered to the wrong address and packages so I put big letters and a big number on both sides of my mailbox and the front of it and I still have the same problem with mail carriers that can't read numbers or words its so sad that people can't read or pay attention so if you can't read or pay attention and need a job then go here and put in a application and just ask for Scott because he will take in anybody because not much training is needed and my neighbors also have the same problem so everytime we see a new mail carrier we all just say ok hold on here we go again because we never know what will happen so so sad ? ?

went there in person to ask for mail hold as it never work when doing on line! I was told that I need to do it on the web so O said I did in the past few time and mail was deliver anyways! when I went there to pick up my mail I was told that my mail man is getting upset when people do "hold mail"! so be aware that your mail will be deliver as he is ignoring any requests!

I called to find out they are holding my mail, because someone I live with wrote a note that upset mailman. I asked them to release my mail and deliver to me because I am handicapped. They refuse to deliver my mail. And said if I can drive and go to work they don't consider me handicaped!! The supervisor name Scott should not be in charge of anything. All I want is to have my mail delivered to the correct address. Not to my the wrong address, were my mail get into the wrong hands or get thrown away.

Put in for my mail to be held. Received a confirmation and my mail is still being delivered. Tried calling but no one ever answers the phone! Never have I seen such poor customer service at a postal facility

One of my packages was marked "delivered" on Feb 16. The package never came and I filled out a service request form. The package was delivered on March 1 (!!!), still no response to my request form. Calling the post office for two days now to find out what happened and nobody picks up. Moreover, on March 1 I also received a stack of mail, including important first class mail that has sorting facility stamps of Feb 20 and Feb 17. Very disappointing service.
