I've been going to these vets for 25+ yrs since they opened their doors and will continue to go to them as long as I have pets. The drs and staff are very compassionate towards your animal and you!! The front staff always greet you and your pet and will work with you to get you in asap, if needed. Even when my daughter ran in with an emergency, they dropped what they were doing and took our cat right in, did surgery on his eye with a full waiting room!!! That was a horrible accident but they were so reassuring and patient with my daughter. Countryside Vets is awesome. Thank you everyone there. ?

I first came to Countryside because no one else would cremate my 19-year-old Siamese cat; other places had no openings, but Countryside took my cat in on the same day and provided me with a beautiful wooden box. That's when I decided to switch to them. Dr. Marotta is so kind and gentle! At the Monroe vet, they said they would have to put my cat to sleep while giving her a shot because she was too aggressive, but Dr. Marotta did an amazing job handling her without any issues. I have no complaints! He also takes care of my dog and two other kittens, and he is always so patient and gentle with them. On top of that, he even calls on his days off to discuss test results, which is truly above and beyond. He definitely deserves a raise! Oh the customer service of the staff members are amazing as well .. they will always answer you messages and emails! and is very nice! One complaint though I do think they are very expensive however with the care and the top notch customer service I wouldn’t change to another vet just bc of the price…but yeah it’s pricey !

I cannot speak highly enough about this clinic. We brought our 5 month old puppy that we rescued in for his first wellness exam yesterday. We had never been to this clinic previously, just looked it up online. All the staff were so nice and helpful with our puppy. They were so gentle with him and constantly gave him positive affirmations and treats! They did not pressure us at all in terms of steps of care we wanted to take with our dog. Dr. Campbell really listens to your concerns and has such a clear, loving passion for animals. We know we are in the right hands!

I brought in a kitten that got hit by a car this morning. Dr santi has been helping this little kitten. It’s very scared and traumatized. I would like to take the kitten home but he told me he wants to observe her and keep her safe till she is ready to be placed in a home or rescue. . I hope she recovers quickly and hopefully I can take her home.

I genuinely can not gush about this place more. They’re in love with my chunky pittie Pacino, and they have done WONDERS for my emergency rescue, Ruby, including squeezing her in the day after I brought her home because she was not doing well. It’s like they can truly read the dogs’ minds and know exactly how to communicate with them for treatment and behavior. I am so so so happy I made the switch here :’)

My husband and I moved to Shelton CT a few months ago and were in need of a new vet for our dogs. Especially our older girl, she needed special care! This was just the place. I felt that the nurse and doctor genuinely cared and took time to look at my nervous girl. By them being so friendly to her, they were able to calm her and examine her very thoroughly. It was a very pleasant experience, also affordable. I would recommend to anyone in need of a vet!!

Wow, I am so amazed with their professionalism and empathy. My almost 2 week old French bulldog puppy gave me a scare! It was 5pm and every vet nearby was either closed or closing. I initially went to my vet that I use for my other dogs and they declined to see my pup. So I found countryside in the midst of crying due to not knowing what to do. I walked in close to closing time and explained the situation to Chrissy at the front desk. She then said the MD would see us! We were taken back to the exam room and greeted by Dr.Jeffrey Santee and Jessie.C. Wow were they awesome. They made me feel so comfortable, reassured and as if I’ve been going there for years! My pup fell asleep in Jessie’s hands. So precious and such a relief! I will now bring my other dogs here. Best vet experience I ever had. Highly recommend. Thanks to such a great team!

This was my first experience at Countryside and I cant say how happy I am with my visit! My dog was a stray and has some behavioral/aggressive behaviors but they welcomed him with open arms! They offered many different services and suggestions to help him and were so open and not even phased by his behavior (which I was nervous about). They were also so friendly to my 4yo who wanted to ask so many questions and be apart of the visit haha Thank you guys so much and looking forward to future visits!

My Pica was cared for by Dr. Marotta as well as a great technician, I didn’t get her name, but they cared for my pet as though she was their own!

Countryside Vet took great care of our pup for 14 of her 17 1/2 years. When we first brought Annaliesa in with very bad stomach issues, Dr. Jim Micinillio really took the time to figure out what the underlying issues were and gave her a livable life….which turned into an amazing long life. Dr. Shael Littleton figured out some of her skin issues and did a great job with her. Dr. Jeffrey Santee took great care of her during the elderly years, and provided some amazing and sensitive guidance on how/when to deal with the end of life. The staff has always been so very helpful and we really do appreciate it.
