I chose to deposit a check here instead of my credit union, thinking they’d clear it sooner. I could not be more wrong. 10 day hold on an insurance claim check. I have never heard of such a long hold on a check, personal or otherwise. Upon googling, I find that this is just how they do business. Wish I’d known this prior to opening an account. I’d have gone elsewhere.

Upon checking reviews I guess this branch won’t last long. They give you appointments for things that they can do right away so they can minimize their work load to zero, while there are no other customers in line. Probably their work model is inspired by the DMV.

I went into this branch today 10 minutes before closing (I understand staff wanting to go). I waited patiently on the line. By the time I asked about assistance helping opening an account it was 3 minutes before closing. The girl at the register made sure to let me know they were closing and I’d need an appointment. No problem. I was sent to an older lady who quickly brushed me off and sent me to the man next to her, Tyler. I stepped into his cubicle, no hi, how are you or any eye contact. I’m a young black woman. His nonverbal cues and lack of eye contact told me how uncomfortable he was by my presence. And I knew right then and there that he was definitely not going to be someone I would trust to lift a finger for me.FYI, business is business whether it’s two hours before closing or two minutes! I was not asking for anyone to stay late, but a acknowledgement instead of looking straight at the computer would’ve been enough.This team needs work. They all lack communication skills. They need to work on their nonverbal cues as well! They are there punching the clock and can careless about business which I also get, it’s not their name on the business BUT as a business owner - I wouldn’t trust any of the 3 to touch my accounts or lift a finger for me. Employees have to feel connected to the work that they do and I can see that these are not. Definitely encouraging this branch to step up their training or interview process and better evaluate the motivational fit of your candidates/hires.Also, teach your employees to go an extra mile for others which doesn’t have to mean staying late! But it can mean being kind, smiling, saying hello, making eye contact or simply following up at a later time. But all of those things require better people! Nicer people. Good luck! Definitely not doing business with this branch.

Horrible!!!!!! No answer when you call the branch. They lost a check and the funds have yet to hit the account it’s been over two weeks and no response from the Shelton branch.

No one answers the phone. Went in to add my husband on my account. They stated they will call me and I haven't received a call yet. Of course I understand things happen but I've been calling and no one answers the phone very frustrating. I called Chase they tried to connect me and still no one picked up. I've just been having a bad experience with chase in general its probably time to bank elsewhere.

I opened my account back around 2008 using a promotion to get free $$. The manager, Melissa, has greeted us by name whenever we've had to go into the branch ever since. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Absolutely the worst banking experience possible. From the manager and down employees who have zero interest in customer service and not what I have come to expect from Chase. As a lifelong customer I will be looking to other institutions for my business going forward for banking, lending and investments

Went to drive thru banking. This location has the tubing system, which I thought was pretty cool until I realized I had to touch the canister lol. The lady was very nice she sent me over a slip and a pen. I sent back over my stuff and the lady was no where to be found. I waited about 5 mins ( which in my opinion is too long). There was no one else on line so I figured maybe I need to push the button again and I did. Another 5 mins later she appeared got the canister and walked away. I felt she could of communicated something to me at that point like why its taking so long or even... OK I'm processing your slip now be right back.

Very poor experience open an account because of a promotion was offer and decide to move my relationship once I qualify for the reward I was told the code was not put in and it was my fault. No problem resolution no service experience recovery so be aware of something does go as expected no one will help. This is why big banks take advantage you are better using your local credit union or small regional bank like peoples bank, Milford bank, etc.
