If I could give Walgreens pharmacies in Seymour a negative star I would!! This pharmacy is horrible!! More times than not I receive text messages stating that my script is ready just to drive all the way there to be told that I now have to wait because it was never filled!! The kicker that really threw me for a loop was when I went to go and pick up my script on July 27 just to be told the entire pharmacy was closed because they had no pharmacist! I mean seriously get it together! After being closed all day on the 27th I am now being told my script that was suppose to be ready two days ago will not be ready for another 4-5 hours. To top everything off most of the employees in the pharmacy are rude! The only employee who seems to treat customers with some respect is Wayne. Walgreens employees who work in pharmacy truly do not care if they said your script was ready they think nothing of having u wait another hour for them to fill it! Most of us choose to go to this specific pharmacy because of its location but in all honesty it might be better just to drive the extra twenty minutes and be treated w respect and actually have prescriptions ready when they were promised!!!!

Both my husband and I have had horrible experiences at the Seymour, CT Walgreens Pharmacy. They have had extreme difficulty processing our prescriptions through our secondary insurance. They say they have to do it "manually". We have had to repeatedly remind them to do so. Sometimes this has taken a significant wait time. I have even called my insurance company while standing there and have had to tell the pharmacy that, yes, I have this coverage. (Previously, my husband did not realize that he was being overcharged, but now it is too late for him to submit claims.) In addition we have been treated very rudely, both in person and on the phone, especially by one female employee. She has even stated that they are too busy to handle this expeditiously. What?! Maybe if they had an efficient system it would save time for them, for us, and for others waiting in line! We have switched to CVS Pharmacy. The first time I went there my insurance info was entered into their computer system and since then every Rx is filled and charged properly with no wait time.

I’m tired of Walgreens changing my prescriptions. The doctor gave me an Rx for 30 days. Walgreens decided not to fill it because they wanted to change it to 90 days. I had to wait Saturday Sunday and Monday until after work to pickup pain meds because they wanted to make more money. Shame on you as a company and your employees. Why didn’t you fill it as written by my doctor? Oh I’m sorry. We have to check with the doctor. No you didn’t. Just fill as written. This is not the first time this has happened but it will be the last.

Are they ever open? Doesn't seem so. I don't blame the staff but Walgreens HQ seriously? Get your act together. Ps I'm one to never leave awful reviews but this pharmacy is very disappointing.

I came for a Covid19 booster. The store was very clean and Megan, who checked me in and did the vaccination was both pleasant and efficient

I have had the WORST experience with the pharmacy / nurse that works there. I went to get my covid shot and the room they took me into was a mess. Bandaids all over the floor, used bloody cotton balls throughout, and the garbage can over flowing. The woman who administered my shot also threw out my own bloody cotton ball in the small trash can and not in the bio hazard bin. Disgusting. Went back for my second shot and she wrote my second dose date for December... not July when I got it. DIDNT realize this until I needed my dose card to travel and was DENIED because of the same woman writing the incorrect date on my card. Terrible experience please steer clear from this place.

Walgreens in Seymour has to be the worst pharmacy I know. I always call ahead for refills and get the day and time my order will be ready but when I go to pick it up I am told they need more time to have a seat or that they need to reach out to the MD.....a phone call saying there is a delay would be great but obviously that would mean the staff would have to pick up the phone. It is so bad that I need to reach out to the doctor myself just to have the doctor tell me she sent over the prescription multiple times! My doctor has asked me why she needs to send info at least two times before it is even acknowledged by the pharmacy......that's pretty sad!!! Besides scripts NEVER being ready on time the pharmacy staff is down right nasty!!! There are a hand full of employees that are great so I apologize to those people in advance for this review. I was picking up a script a few days ago and per usual it was not ready even though it was suppose to be ready the night before at 8pm. When I explained this to the women that was assisting me she cut me off mid sentence and said "we need more time so you have to wait" When she finally rang me out (13 minutes later, yes I was timing it) she didn't say one word to me not even a thank you or have a nice day or maybe even better I apologize for the wait, but no the only thing I received was my change tossed on the counter and before I could even pick it up she walked away from me. The thing that made me most angry was the fact that I had a question about the medication but she stormed away so fast I didn't have a chance to ask anything. I will be getting the name of this lady and adding it into a follow up review, she should be trained in proper customer service. That brings me to another question, shouldn't all staff be mandated to wear a badge with proper identification?? Needless to say she didn't have one....but if I was that unprofessional I would try and hide my name as well. If this was a isolated incident I wouldn't think to much of it because we all have a bad day every now and then, but each and every time I have any interaction with this specific person she is nothing but rude and unprofessional. I have been a loyal customer at Walgreens for 15+ years but due to the unprofessionalism I am contemplating switching to a different pharmacy. I hope this review helps anyone who is trying to decide on a pharmacy.....if there is a different place beside Seymour Walgreens I suggest you go there unless of course you have time to waste each and every time you need a prescription

I’ve had horrible service at this pharmacy. They always give me one medicine when I have 2 and they always mess my insurance up and I have to wast 30 minutes plus in order for them to get it fixed in their system. This is my last straw and I’ve never had someone mess up this bad on medicine. Won’t trust anyone who messes with it.

Paid for graduation invitations online with my credit card and when my wife just went to pick them up the girl at the desk claims that we still owed money. Even though my wife showed her the card was changed. We get well I can't look at statements my boss can tomorrow. Great thanks soooo much what a waste of time and aggravation. I'm sorry you don't know how to do your job.

I stopped here for a drink while traveling about the state, and was intrigued because of how high it is from the road, being built on a hill and all. It was a standard Walgreens, although one of their more medium sized stores (not huge, but not too small) with plenty of parking. The aisles seemed a little cramped, and there was a short wait to check out but overall not a negative or remarkable experience. Cost is pretty standard for your pharmacy/convenience stores.

Walgreens is a great store if you are in to bargain hunting. There Orange tag clearance items are really unbeatable. 8 store has different discounts at different times though. So always check with the in store price checker to make sure that you are getting the right price for what you want. The stores reward programs are pretty awesome also. It's I must have got in close to $500 free stuff from the time that I signed up for the rewards program. It's real simple you look at the flyer see what's a promotional item that gives you a lot of points if you need that I don't you buy it and then you receive the reward points. Which then turn into dollars.

This Walgreens location is filthy. The floors haven't been swept or washed in what looks like months. At the pharmacy counter there are dust bunnies and dirt. I only went there for convenience, next time I will go out of my way to go to a cleaner store.. Walgreens should be ashamed..
