The front staff always greet you and your pet and will work with you to get you in asap, if needed. Even when my daughter ran in with an emergency, they dropped what they were doing and took our cat right in, did surgery on his eye with a full waiting room!!! “My dog was very sick, she had eaten into her lipoma and was slowly dying from it, I called all over trying to get an appointment and either most places were booked out until February or even September, or they weren't accepting new patients... I finally found oxford veterinary hospital and they were so accommodating and friendly. I had to wait till after Christmas, but once I was in for the exam, they decided to do the surgery right then and there!! “We have been bringing our dog to VAW for eight years and have always been happy with their service. However, I've recently been receiving spam from affiliated solicitors spoofing as Veterinary Associates of Westville (even if I didn't mind solicitors, it's confusing and a little shady that they appear to come from the vet's office). VAW confirmed that they had indeed shared their clients' email addresses with third parties but couldn't remove me from that list and suggested I unsubscribe from the individual emails instead - an option I've found only once so far, and not something I appreciate having to deal with in the first place.”

“Our relationship with Dr. Saleh started smack in the middle of the pandemic when no vets were taking animals in or there was an enormous wait for vet care. My beloved cat Paul had swelling to his face. I was sure it was a bad tooth. We had just moved to West Haven from Greenwich. I called Vet after vet 2 weeks or more for an appointment. I called Angel vet and got Mrs. Saleh on the phone. Explained what was wrong started bawling convinced this was the end of our Paul. She made room for Paul THAT DAY! It turned out to be an inflamed scratch inside his mouth. A round of antibiotics and he was good to go.
Some people in reviews have commented that Dr. Saleh does not have good bedside manner. This is not true. Dr. Saleh is straight and to the point. He will handle your fur baby with the confidence of an exceptionally experienced vet. What Dr. Saleh is not going to do is coddle you. He is there to cure and heal animals, not to provide a therapy session for pet owners.
Dr. Saleh will then give you all the options to resolve your pets issues. He understands that some pet owners are budget conscious and works to accommodate that. He does not upsell services or promote product.
Paul recently passed away. Dr. Saleh and his staff helped us through the process of taking care of Paul after he passed. I called several companies that handle this sort of thing and was quoted 800.00, 700.00..very expensive. Dr. Saleh got Paul taken care of for a fraction of that price.
I cannot say or explain enough good things about this practice. My appreciation for Angel and all if it's staff is absolutely enormous.”
