I went with a friend on a Saturday afternoon to take a fused glass workshop. The teacher explained the whole process and was open to questions. He guided us individually through the process and checked in with us throughout our time creating our own unique pieces. If people had ideas or questions, he was very helpful in offering suggestions or getting different materials to create the look the person wanted. The class was the perfect size, 5 people, which allowed us to get to know each other and have enough individual attention to complete our projects in 2 hours. I highly recommend the classes.Additionally, there is a beautiful store in the front (workshops are in the back). They have lots of glassware as well as candles and other gift items. It is a perfect spot to find birthday, holiday or personal gifts. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful.

We took four glass lampshade assemblies from a large ceiling fan to The Glass Source for repair / re-soldering. Mike told us what he needed to do and gave us an estimate of cost and timing accordingly. Mike then exceeded our expectations by finishing the work within an hour instead of three days. Personal(!), Professional(!!) and Quality(!!!) work at a very reasonable price. THANK YOU.

What a beautiful niche little store full of truly one of a kind gifts and unique items. They also run classes and take in repairs. I will keep it on my list for beautiful one of a kind gifts for sure!

You will never want to leave the Glass Source studio. Located in a sweet little pocket of historic Seymour, nestled among antique shops, the Glass Source is magical inside and out. I’ve been a weekly student working an several pieces for pleasure and as gifts for several months, and have also taken advantage of open studio hours and referred friends to their restoration services. From the instruction you receive in class to the access you have to the gorgeous studio space to the gorgeous shop to the selection of materials for creating your own work, you will not be able to find anything that matches the Glass Source!
