This is a good Stop & Shop. The store is clean and well lit. It's well stocked and they have a huge selection of products. The floral department is fantastic! It is well stocked with tons of very pretty flowers and plants. They also have some very nice seasonal decorations. Their bakery is also excellent with a huge variety of baked goods. We have bought some excellent donut holes and cookies here, so the bakery really does a good job. All of the baked goods appeared to be fresh and recently made. The counter was also very well decorated. The prepared chicken at the deli was very hot and fresh. They also had more prepared food options here than at other locations. The deli was good and staff moved quickly. The nature's Promise section is huge and has tons of organic options, if you're into that stuff. The produce was good here. The bananas and vegetables seemed fresh and well stocked. The meats looked fresh. Seafood seemed to be hit or miss. Some looked good, but some didn't look fresh. The staff seemed helpful and friendly. The evening manager (the lady with blond hair) is very friendly and helpful every time. Also, the evening cashier (the lady with the dark hair) is helpful and professional. While I really like this store, there are a few issues. Like I previously mentioned, some of the fish didn't look or smell fresh. Also, the older freezers were leaking and not fully working properly. Multiple times when we've been here, at least one of the older freezers is broken or having maintenance done. I also sometimes see frost/freezer burn on a lot of the ice cream here. They did get new freezer doors all along the dairy section and those seem to work very well, but the older freezers need some improvement. Also, the outside could be repainted in a few areas. Overall, this Stop & Shop is a great store that has definitely improved over the past several months. It's a pleasant place to shop and I enjoy coming here. It serves Seymour well. 3.5 stars for Seymour's Stop & Shop.

The store has a smell to it that is unbearable. Cleanliness is subpar. Checkout is the slowest I have even seen. Seafood section smells so bad it's hard to walk by. Extremely poor management is certainly the cause of this. We no longer shop here.

A very drab, outdated store. Dirt abounds starting with the entranceway boasting an overfilled trash can with the overflow on the ground. The lighting is poor and the ceiling tiles are all smudged and stained. Capping this all off are staff that mostly seem like they'd rather be elsewhere. The check out lady did not greet customers and acted like she was doing them a favor. Pictures are worth a 1000 words so here goes....

Better than average Stop & Shop branch. They offer samples and decent merchandise on markdown very frequently. I find the best deals here, and new sales daily.
