Just adopted our new kitty from them and the experience was wonderful. They got back to us quickly after submitting the application, worked with our schedule to cover meet the cats, let us take our time with several cats and even walked or dog while we were inside with the cats. The staff was so friendly and their adoption price is very reasonable. We love our new big man! Highly recommend if you’re interested in adopting!

They were one of the only shelters that offered help when I had a mom and 3 kittens outside. I needed to trap them before a weekend snow storm. They were all safely inside before the storm. I have been a volunteer for about 1 year now.

Amazing group of people who go above and beyond to provide everything for those in their care.Please consider fostering, donating cat food and/or something towards medical care. There are so many cats and dogs in need, and vetting isn't cheap.

Seymour CARES are a wonderful group of people who give their time and love to the rescue animals. My husband and I recently adopted a cat from them and we are so pleased with our little guy. The volunteers have been so good responding to our calls and concerns, helping us out answering any of our questions, plus much more. Many thanks to all of them for what they do.

This is a puppy mill. They don’t care for the animals one bit. They just want to sell you a dog or a cat. Dirty people abusing animals.
