6 Washington Ave, Sandy HookThis place is a real gem. The atmosphere is great, but what really shines here is the menu (food & drinks) and an exceptional level of service you'd expect to find in NYC or Boston.
Food: Great balance between classic & modern techniques. I'm a carnivor and there was plenty to choose from but my wife is vegetarian and she was impressed by her options.
Drinks: Well thought out cocktail menu. A Wine List that will have your jaw hit the floor PLUS service staff who can talk about pairings, know when to offer decanting service and top off your glass at the right moment.
Dessert: A dedicated menu with a range of bites AND a full list of drinks including trendy dessert cocktails, stomach settling digestifs from Europe, as well as a comprehensive list of dessert wines you can order by the ounce. Perfect.
Service: As professional as I've seen in CT. Diligent without being intrusive, prompt without feeling rushed. Amazing attention to detail.
