“I don't think that I've ever reviewed a "package" store before but this place is so much more! I had heard about it for awhile so I popped in when I was in Morris and was glad that I did!The Wise Old Dog is the Rolls Royce of all packies! Everything was impressive from the decor and layout of the building to the amazing variety of liquors. You want a Coors Light? They got you covered. What about a nice cab? Done. You also want a $300 bottle of Scotch brewed from the tears of the Loch Ness Monster herself? No problem.They had a complimentary wine tasting going on when I was there as well! What a great business to have in Morris!”
“Stopped here on the way to a friend's house to purchase a bottle of red wine for her mother's birthday. I have no clue about wine at all. I asked the man at the counter what he'd recommend as far as red wines, he went out of his way to show us a great all round red wine and explained to us why it was special compared to other wines ect. Very professional and welcoming I was really impressed, and she loved the wine. If i didn't live in Florida I'd be a regular here. I'm so happy I stopped here and would absolutely recommend this store to anyone!”
“This is the only place in town I get my wine. The owner Steve and his staff (especially James) are extremely knowledgeable and their recommendations are fantastic. I always enjoy their selections and so do my guests when we enjoy the wine together! Steve offers “wine school” monthly in the fall and winter where we learn about all different wines. It’s so much fun.”
“I stopped in to pick up a couple of bottles of a wine they had as a special (it happened to be one of my favorites). I had never visited here before, but as I searched for my selection, I discovered their wide range of wines, with many hard-to-find bottles in stock. They also have a great selection of hard liquors, with many not found in other stores in the area. I managed to find a few more bottles to add to my purchase as I explored, and the nice lady at the register was friendly and helpful when I asked about a brand I didn't see (she knew exactly where it was - right down to the number of spaces from the end of the shelf!) The best is they open at 9am, which means I can stop by on my way home from the gym if I need something, instead of planning a separate trip out when the other stores open at 10am. Definitely a merchant I will visit again!”

“I had honestly expected so little from the Morris Spirit Shop - maybe beer and whatever their regular customers drink. But no, it's got a great selection, especially for its physical footprint! Outside the bushes are well maintained, and there are even places to sit on the front porch. Parking has a frequent turnover , but there's a lot of room in the front lot to maneuver.Inside, it's bright and cheerful, with lots of varieties for wine, beer, and liquor. The cashier (who may have been the proprietor) was friendly and happy to help with finding a certain something or a similar alternative in stock. I went in with the expectation "I'll know what I want when I see it", which he respected, but also I found a great wine for a gift and a bunch of little nip bottles to try out! Prices were very reasonable as well.”

“The Bethlehem Spirit Shop is the personification (building-fication?) of a small town liquor store. They have all the big names, several bottle sizes for liquor, cooler for beer, and rows of different wines. The clerk was eager to offer their assistance to help me find what I was looking for, even noting if I was getting something for a local they might be able to make personal recommendations. It was fantastic service, although I wasn't as helpful as a customer! (I knew what I was looking for only when I saw it.) Parking is a little tight, but it's an easy in and out onto the road.”
“A friend of mine said he couldn’t find a very specific beer. After checking with two Local business, third time was a charm. The first two said they have never heard of it. The clerk at the front knew exactly what I was talking about, but unfortunately was out of stock. He called the bigger store and they also were out of stock. Like everything else, there is apparently shortages with certain beer. He took my name down and said he will call me as soon as it’s available. Said he will also contact their sales rep and see if they could speed it up a bit. Great customer service, very friendly, plenty of parking spots in the front. I have bought from here before and the prices are great. Very convenient if you live off Route 202 or 67 in New Milford.”

“A little pricey but not bad for the location. Very accommodating and open to new products. Disappointed that I had to step around the two ginormous dogs laying on the floor in the middle of the store. Not being a fan of dogs I find it rather presumptuous and have no desire to return.”
“Nice bright store with large selection. They stock my usual libations and popular items but nothing of note. Have tried ordering special items but that does not seem to work. Nice selection of beer. Wine is their thing and you can find items no one else will have. Usually a good value.”
“I hadn't been here in a few months, and I really liked the service where there was always an offer to help get something for you. That was good because it always felt cramped in this little place. I just stopped in and, wow, major upgrades. The small addition to the side of the building and redesign of layout have created a very nice looking shop.”

“Love my kohl’s store is always so clean although u are in able to try on clothes in the dressing room due to covid. All employees have masks and they have marked on the floor so u stay six feet away and if u are not they kindly ask u to stay on the line and six feet away from each other.”

“Discovered this convenient and clean liquor store right off I-84. Big cooler of local and domestic beers in the back. Pleasantly surprised by the extensive collection of California wines from places like Napa, Sonoma, and Paso Robles. They recommended a great whiskey too. Owners were super friendly and welcoming. Could def make this a regular pit stop!”
