We had the misfortune of having car trouble, 1200 miles from home while on vacation. Not knowing anything about the area car repair shops, we took a chance and called these guys. They worked us in fairly quickly, completed the repairs, and got us back on the road. Rob even contacted us a couple days later to see how the car was running. Highly recommend this shop!

Great shop and utterly professional at all times. I was in and out in 45 minutes, and they always take the time to explain what they found, and when you should ideally fix the problem. Great shop and wonderful people, can’t recommend them enough!

I have been taking my cars to Silas Deane Auto for several years for a variety of issues from oil changes to complicated repairs. Shaun, Rob, and the team have always been transparent, communicative, and fair in the services they have provided. They have consistently repaired issues with my cars in a timely and affordable manner. Shaun and Rob have done an excellent job of explaining clearly what needed to be repaired. I highly recommend Silas Deane Auto.

Looking for a place with good reviews, I went here for an oil change and tire rotation. It’s a great location, clean waiting room and great customer service. You can make an appointment online, which I love. I was in and out. The only thing they found was I have very cloudy headlights and they gave me an estimate for cleaning them. Nothing I’ve tried it has ever worked, so I will probably take them up on it. I’ll definitely come back here.

When my check engine light came on and the car would not start, I called the dealer who advised they couldn’t see my car for at least 3 weeks. I checked w/AAA for an approved shop and had it towed to a garage close to my house. Big mistake! That shop had my car for a week then told me they couldn’t diagnose the problem??!! I then had my car towed from that shop to Silas Deane Auto. On the first day they had my car, Rob called me to advise what they found. I had my car back in a few days only because we needed to wait for parts from the dealer. I definitely wish I had my car towed to Silas Deane Auto originally. Rob and Sean were great and have a new customer in me as I plan to bring my car there for regular maintenance. They even checked with me after the service. Nothing better than great customer service!

Honest trustworthy shop. I work on my own vehicles typically but I ran into an issue replacing strut springs. I called and spoke to Rob. He answered my questions. I arrived an hour later, saw Shaun and Rob. I left the struts to have the new springs installed. About 2 hours later, they were done. The price was as expected and the service was timely. I recommend this shop to others because of their “character”.

Stopped in on the home traveling from NJ to ME. Heard a little bit of noise when braking while driving so we stopped for lunch and swung in here after to have it checked out. As a mechanic myself, I have a hard time trusting other shops. These guys were great though. Very honest, brought it right in and looked at it. Made sure everything was good for the road. Glad I stopped there to have the vehicle looked at. Give them a shot!
