“My favorite liquor store. What does that say about me?! Discussion for another time. I'll go out of my way to go to S&P. If they don't have something I want, they'll get it. I'm always looking for recommendations and ideas, they have the answer. When my nephew told me about peanut butter whiskey, I was so intrigued and couldn't wait to try it! It's made by screwball! So when I asked "my guy" at S&P about it, he said all of CT was a-buzz about this whiskey and due into the state December 1st. . Unless I wanted to drive to NY or NH, I had to wait. So wait I did and on that first Tuesday of December, my guy had the case of screwball in the back of the store, waiting for me to come and get my bottle(s)! I should have about 30 check-ins here, again, what does that say about me, but moving forward...”

“My boyfriend & I went to MK faithfully for years when we lived in RH. Even now that we've moved away, we make it a point to stop by whenever we're in town. Sam is incredibly kind & helpful. He's ordered things just because I wanted to try them on more than 1 occasion. 10/10, absolutely reccomend!”

“I stopped in here yesterday while I was in the area. The Silas Deane has a number of package stores but this one definitely stands out! The inside is new and clean and they had an excellent selection. I was very surprised with their wide selection of traditional beers in the walk in with almost every size and type of domestic that not every store has. They have a separate cooler in the back for craft beer and their selection was is one of the best i've seen in the Wethersfield/Rocky Hill area. The only thing I didn't love was their allocated bottles of whiskey and other liquors were sold in combo packs only and were definitely marked up. However, I was happy to see the selection locally. This place has the selection/ feel that I would compare to a larger store like Total Wine. I look forward to coming back!”

“Friendly staff. Bruce found and ordered a Cabernet wine and a specialty Scotch for me that I had been looking for. He also helped me find Passover wines. The other staff members were knowledgeable as well and recommended wines for me. All wonderful choices.”

“My local store for alcohol... Surprisingly large rotating selection of microbrews, especially local ones. A few ciders also. Staff is knowledgeable about beers and wines and will happily point you in the right direction. Recent reorganization gave more shelf space, a cleaner feeling and an expanded cooler, mostly devoted to hard sodas and seltzers, not my thing but good to improve selection.”

“Their sign says Century Package Store, and that just about sums it up. A pretty good supply of the usual suspects, including a wide variety of liquors from around the world, with modest coverage of high end wines or liquors. (e.g., the small "fine wines" section has the wines over $20). Friendly staff.”
