“The site malfunctioned saying we'd get the mattress on some other day instead of Saturday (today, the day I picked) and they didn't tell me this in an email or anything, it was forever saying pending and I wasn't told anything. We talked to Lori in person and she fixed it so we are getting it next Saturday so thank you, Lori. It was hilarious, she said she's never seen the site do this before, never had a problem like this. We assumed it glitched from Labor Day but anyway, so happy this is dealt with before worrying and wondering all day today if it's coming. Again, thanks Lori!”

We haven't been able to sleep in our bed in weeks due to back pain, but I was apprehensive to get a new mattress because I couldn't imagine a comfortable firm mattress. I was so wrong! “Really nice store. Beware, signs are all over the store that say 30% off EVERYTHING….. that’s not including clearance. I think I’d have purchased my clearance chair regardless, however I think the signs should say except clearance. I was kinda surprised that no one knew if furniture was scotch guarded. Nice young personable salesman.”

“Pompanoosuc Mills is magnificent! When my wife and I were renovating our dining room, we searched at length for a company that employed American carpenters and cabinetmakers, used sustainably harvested wood supplied by American lumber companies, and sold furniture directly to their customers at competitive prices. Pompanoosuc met these criteria. We visited its store in West Hartford, Connecticut and asked for guidance in selecting several pieces of furniture, including a table, chairs, sideboard, and console. Kristen, the saleswoman, devoted hours to our exploration and related inquiries. She was very knowledgeable. Equally important, she was patient. Our interactions with her were always pleasant; we would not have realized the objectives of our renovation without her thoughtful guidance. After we submitted our order, Kristen and the store’s manager, Rebekah, were conscientious in keeping us informed throughout the manufacturing process. On delivery day, my wife and I were impressed by Ian and Nate as they carried the furniture from their large Pompanoosuc truck the length of our driveway to our house. They arrived with hearty handshakes, took off their shoes to avoid damaging the floors, and positioned the furniture exactly as we requested. And every piece of furniture was perfect!All aspects of our experience as customers of Pompanoosuc Mills were spectacular. The company would be a worthy subject at business schools analyzing the culture of excellence - - trustworthiness, customer-focused service, and passionate workforce. “We were quite pleased with the deck furniture that we got here so decided to give them a shot at our new fireplace screen.We found one that we liked and Kurt told us that exact measurements were essential in getting this right. He asked if he could come out this very afternoon to do that. We were pleased. Little did we know that he would have to remove our current screen to do it properly! That being done he put it all back together so we might use it until the new screen arrived. We learned that it would be custom made to our specifications and would take a month.The new screen arrived, Kurt showed up once again and spent another hour taking out the old screen and installing the new one. He even mixed a soap and water solution to clean the brick which was soiled by our old screen!We are now pleased with both our patio furniture as well as our brand new custom made fireplace screen.5 stars indeed!!”
