“If you are a teacher to little ones you would understand the importance of having a prize box in your classroom. This is the primary reason I visit this Dollar Tree, to fill up on goods for the prize box. Occasionally, I'll also stop by to pick up some holiday decor for the classroom.I most recently picked up holiday pencils, and 3D pencils erasers shaped like ice cream. I also picked up red and green garland as well as some holiday ribbon.This Dollar Tree is pretty filled with merchandise. All of the isles I have passed through were filled and organized. The Christmas isles are basically blinding with all the red ornaments, Santas, bows and more.The isles are clean, without any tripping hazards placed in the middle of the isles. Most importantly, the line to check out is fast.At this Dollar Tree everything is priced at $1.25.This is one of the better Dollar Trees in the area.”
“Luis is an outstanding member of your team! Not only did he help an elderly lady find everything she needed and more but he then proceeded to really help me out in a huge way in a timely matter. I am a project coordinator who oversees the site assessment department at a solar company and I’ll tell you right now employees like him? You do not find often. “Best Dollar Tree in town excellent service quick check out considering how many people will be in line at any given time. Employees are exceptional and friendly!! Always a good value at the Dollar Tree. I usually go here for specific things, but mostly I go shopping at the Dollar Tree for decorations relating to whatever season or holiday is coming up. It's a good way to stay within budget spending on decorations.”
“I was very impressed with this new Dollar Tree store in Newington center. The did an outstanding job of remodeling/renovating the building, and for an added bonus they rolled out the $2-$5 concept in the store. Newington really needed a store like this, as there's a dearth of budget friendly stores centrally located. This location is now my go-to store for Newington. Highly recommend this store.”

“The staff at this Dollar Tree is always very pleasant and helpful. The selection of items is very diverse. There are some things that were out of stock this morning, but a team of men were working to restock the store.I just wish my fellow community neighbors would appreciate this location. How? By returning things back to their place, parents not allowing kids to make a mess in the toy section, by simply valuing our community businesses and doing our best to have the best.”
“Dollar Tree, one of the final stores with the word “dollar” in its name, that used this term CORRECTLY. Dollar General is a waste of time, space and resources. Why go to any “dollar store” that no longer respects the meaning behind the name?!?”
“Large, spacious store. Unlike other dollar stores nearby. I like the combined concept of both stores. Dollar Tree when you walk in and Family Dollar on the other. If you can't find a specific item on one side, chances are they have it on the other side. Great if you were looking for $1.25 items, but also want to pick up name brand groceries and home items. This location is primarily a Family Dollar with FD receipts and bags. That means you can also use their app at checkout to redeem their coupons and offers. So far, still very clean and stocked neatly. Brought a long vacant space back to life.”
“This place is alright. I come here almost everyday and experience some problems. The biggest problem I've had is that the store is very short staffed and the lines take up 10-15 minutes when there is only 1 person in the checkout.
Another problem I have is some things are messy and all over the place.
The good things are they have everything you need when stopping around, the place is quiet with no customers being lousy, they restock everything frequently, And the some of the employees are pretty chill”

“Convenient, clean and not too crowded. A great store to grab a few groceries (no fresh meat, veg or fruit). Also, can be compared to a smaller version of Walmart.”
“I love the store. There's so much choices, but there is one area of opportunity. I work in customer service and I tell my team if it's quiet trust me if there's one person in the store they can hear everything and I don't want to get anyone in trouble, but I will tell you the language that came out of one of the store reps talking to another rep was extremely unprofessional. Using profound words that were unnecessary. I almost walked up to her and said something she seems like a sweet girl, but that type of language is not kept in the store even if they think no one's listening, I heard everything.I definitely would coach the team on being careful what they say and when they say it. Use the back office they need to discuss personal issues.”

“This is one of the better dollar trees within my travel from work to home & the cashiers are hard working and friendly , I shop here often because it’s always well stocked , Today 5/24 I came for gold table clothes because of a event I needed 30 and this store had 17 I purchased . Today 5/24/24 was the first time I had a issue - I never pay for paper bags and this store bags are cheap and not worth a penny def not a dime and I noticed on receipt normally I don’t even take my receipt but I’m doing a event and needed it , I saw 10 cent bag charge Yes I asked for my 10 cent back Faith could use retraining I suggest you remind customers it’s 10 a bag. Before you just charge them , The manager gave me my 10 cent but Faith felt I was rude to a customer who offer to pay , It wasn’t about the dime Faith it was the principle you didn’t tell me Still a 5 star store despite my story with Faith today customer can be wrong but more so you can learn better customer service / she can work on it .”

“It's a family Dollar one in the same of all different things you need one space to grab it definitely not overpriced hence the name of the store they're always busy and I don't mean like a lot of people in the store I mean the workers at the store are always busy stocking shelves or doing stuff so you kind of have to maneuver around stuff but again worth saving money”

Lol of course the area is what it is but they have updated the inside of the store + and increased their frozen food selections and they have an excellent app which alerts you when deals are available. “Great place to stock up for party needs - utensils, cups, plates, disposable serving ware, as well as seasonal decor.
Managed to snag light up headbands and glasses for the kids & adults going to the fireworks on the cheap (they only need to last a few hours, right?)
They currently have some decent graduation party options.”
