I have had so many issues at this pharmacy, either they can’t fill a prescription fully so I have to come back for the rest, can’t fill prescription same day, and the hours are very limited. The staff are nice but I do not recommend.

Not friendly at pharmacy

Employee couldn't even look up from or stop using his phone to check me out. Line of people behind me... purchase took 5 times longer than it should have... Customer service is dead.

This is the worse pharmacy in the area! They are unethical and can leave without notification- closing at 3pm with posted hours until 7pm. Nothing is filled on time. No notification on the phone when trying to call. Leaves you waiting for over an hour. Horrible business practice.

All medical services, pharmacies included, have had a rough time during Covid. They worked through a pandemic, dealt with frustrated customers, and seemed to have huge staff turnovers. So many difficult things to deal with. So I have compassion for what's been happening with Walgreens. I was frustrated when I needed an urgent prescription for a child sick with an earache and they weren't open to fill it on a Saturday. They had always been open before. But, on my last few visits, the person handling the drive through, (I really hate to say her name-) has been just so utterly unhelpful I don't see how I can continue there. It's more then being unfriendly, it's like she hates the job and customers so much-and you can tell.

The pharmacy has improved greatly.

I switched to Walgreens from CVS in Ridgefield because the service was so bad at CVS! What a mistake I made, the Walgreens in Ridgefield is disgraceful! The hours are terrible 10:00-6:00 Monday- Friday so make sure you don't have a job if you need to use this pharmacy. The lines are insanely long and slow. The staff are all under qualified, (although pleasant) They never once have gotten my prescription correct! It is outrageous that there is not a reliable pharmacy in Ridgefield! But by far Walgreens is the worst.

New to Ridgefield, and Walgreens seems the best to go to w their easy parking lot (forget CVS, so busy and one parking lot shared between many stores so it's hard to park there). The pharmacists at Walgreens are nice but they are so slow. I attempted going three times before I finally got through (first three times had lines w at least 20people). When I did get through the order wasn't ready. It had been three days since the doctor sent it. And it still wasn't ready. So they told me they'd get it ready in 5 mins. See, right there they should have just told me the truth. Manage my expectations. Right? It took an hour before they got it ready. Apparently the pharmacist had to give three people a vaccine before approving and putting together my stuff. OH!! And they didn't even get it right. Was picking up for my husband and he said it wasn't even complete. They only gave me one part of my order. I asked them what I could do to make it easier the next time I come over. They admitted that it was a shortage of staff on their part. Not sure why Walgreens doesn't do anything about it. But then again wasn't it Walgreens that fired employees dying the lock down? Parking makes this place seem convenient. But need to rethink relying on this place.

Awful. My doctor called in an urgent prescription yesterday. Went to pick up medicine today, Tuesday, at 2 p m, and the pharmacy department was closed for the day. Other customers were there to pick up their prescriptions too. And got what I got. Nothing. They were angry and disappointed too. Asked for help. Walgreens employees said it was against the law to go into the pharmacy so couldn't or wouldn't help. Hopefully the pharmacy will be open tomorrow. I called ahead yesterday to confirm prescription would be ready today and after 23+ minutes of being ON HOLD hung up. This drugstore whimsically closing the pharmacy for the day is a disservice to the Ridgefield community's health and well being. It happened several times before to my wife. My family will not shop again at Walgreens -- there are nearby alternatives -- and I am going to share this experience with friends and neighbors. Walgreens built their business based on their pharmacies high pricing which patients under the stress of illness pay. Their pharmacies lose business now due to online pharmacies' lower prices. They will lose much much more.

My kids had their 2nd COVID vaccines scheduled at the same time as their first ones here. First one occurred smoothly, but after receiving reminders and confirmation for the second one we arrived to find out that the pharmacy was closed at 4pm. New store hours that were implemented just 2 days before? It would have been nice to receive a phone call or email today so we didn't have to show up to a completely closed off shop. No one to talk to. No instructions on how to reschedule.

The pharmacy is a disaster. Understaffed, disorganized, unreasonably long wait times, and unreliable in filling prescriptions within the time frame promised. Most disturbing is the the lack of respect for patient confidentiality.

Incredibly inefficient vaccination process, waited 85 minutes and watched later arriving patients taken ahead of us....no communications. Pressing the issue finally getting resolved. Undermanned, long lines, no system...stay away, get it someplace else!
