Nicely curated and crafted, making second hand items appealing to the masses. The front displays are beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of walking into a true vintage store without the extravagant vintage prices.
Further into the store is where you’ll find most of your more “worn items.” Everything was well organized and some pieces were in great shape. You can tell the store remains prideful about its appearance.
There was also a lovely selection of books and purses and their kitchenware items were a steal. Who wouldn’t love a practically new air fryer for $30?!
Admittedly, the store can be a tad chaotic by the sheer number of people shopping. Apparently, everyone recognizes that in terms of second hand and vintage, this place is a gem!

The RTS has come a long way since it was founded. The location it occupies is spacious, with ample parking. Items for sale are clean, and nicely displayed. They take credit cards, cash, and possibly checks, although I've never asked to pay this way. The volunteers are pleasant and helpful. They often have themed sales like vintage books, prom dresses, or holiday decor and clothing. Many items are bargain priced, but the boutique section is considerably higher priced. These items are in a glass case, or on racks nearby with security tags. While the prices are higher, they are still considerably lower than retail, but not generally low enough to allow for enough margin for resale. I would like to see them open every day, but that is till not the case.

Wasn't quite sure my wait in the Christmas line would be worth it but I am happy to say it was. The Christmas set up was beautiful! I was there to shop for old ornaments. Not only did they keep putting them out from what seemed to be an endless supply ------ they were cheap. Not gonna lie, it was crazy busy! This is one super busy thrift. Well worth it for this vintage thrifter!

Ridgefield Thrift Shop goes above and beyond an ordinary thrift shop. Everything is highly curated and the attention to detail is immaculate. The staff are extremely friendly, and the prices are a steal. I bought all my silverware here and still get compliments to this day!

First time visiting this thrift shop and must say the hype was all it was. I entered and expected a little more value for your buck from a secondhand shop. Most clothing pieces were overpriced and very outdated. Waited 30 minutes to get in and all I was left with was a battered back from standing outside in the cold so long. To make matters worse, I found the only non-denominational holiday cards in a box with no thrift store price sticker that only had the Marshalls $5.99 price it was originally purchased for. After bringing the item with a missing price sticker to a volunteer's attention, she took it to the back and brought it back out 3 minutes later. I grabbed it again and realized it was priced at $5!!!!!!! Only 99 cents less for a box of cards that may have less than the 16 indicated on the re-taped box???? I observed many leaving with empty hands. No jewelry either because it seems anything worth over 15 bucks is auctioned off online. Not worth the trip. Maybe if you're a local and bored, but this momma doesn't have time to search for treasure that don't exist.

Very unfriendly place I just witnessed a woman snap at two customers for trying the door ten minutes before opening. She said “you two need to look and read. Don’t you see the sign?” Shaking her head and scoffing Then as they stood out front waiting for the store to open, another volunteer asked the rude woman if she wanted her to stand there and keep an eye on the clothing racks because of the customers waiting to go in. Very unfriendly.

visited the store TWICE in my life, every time it was overcrowded to the point where I really believed it was a fire hazard. uninteresting, bland items on display I have seen in countless other thift stores, with the exception of the delicate China and glass that was way overpriced and understaffed cashier to handle so many customers. 1st time visitng I didn't bother buying anything because it was just so chaotic, having my personal space invaved by strangers.I could barely walk an aisle wihout being blocked by other persons, very frustrating and not worth my time driving to a different town and end up getting just ONE item: a simple $8 dress. Was NOT a pleasant shopping experience :(

Overpriced for a thrift store. Dresses went from $40-90. The staff are a miss. Would not recommend.

Better quality up cycling and thrifting. Great finds nicely displayed in a clean place and lovely town. The store is very busy but worth the time.

Was a 5 star before 10/22. Since 10/22, prices are outrageous. Nothing interesting/unique reaches the floor. Think it must get screened and going other places....not on their auction either.

I’ve never had a positive experience with the staff and since I had a fantastic one after visiting the store yesterday, I’ve decided to write a review.Florence that is part of the staff is truly a breath of fresh air- what a lovely lady! She made my experience very pleasant as opposed to the usual hostile environment.I hope I get to encounter more Florences as part of the staff since I shop there very often and she seems to understand what the concept is about.
