I came in on Saturday looking for cross country trainer and spikes and these two experts Kyle and Michael were able to assist me they first took me back to an in depth scanner that taught me things about my feet that I didn’t know about my feet then they bought me bought me up excellent shoes that were super comfortable and felt great on my feet they got me up on a treadmill and watched me run and it was a great experience and would highly recommended anyone looking for cross country to go to these two gentleman!

I will never buy sneakers from anywhere else! Megan and her team are the best of the best; the service, experience and care is unparalleled to any other brick and mortar, let alone online selection! My husband, our golden retriever, and our 6mo love to go for daily walks, so I was in need of new, quality sneakers. Megan herself analyzed my feet with the most cutting edge technology, and she explained each facet of my feet in minutes! Lo and behold I learned that I’ve actually been wearing the wrong size shoes!! Megan heard what features in a shoe were important to me, and carefully offered choice after choice despite my pickiness. She went over different brands, types, and helped me narrow down what was right for me. After countless pairs, she knew she had found me the perfect shoe! I was so excited and loved them, that I wore them out of the store! She even took my old pair off my hands to donate.
If you want to wear the wrong size and kind of shoes for years, and wonder why your feet hurt, you can keep buying random shoes online or from a big box store. If you are looking for a top of the line foot(wear) assessment, the best service and options, and knowledgeable and caring staff, this is the place you must visit! I keep telling everyone that will listen to me about my experience, and hope they all take my advice. I also recently learned what an admirable community supporter Megan and the Searfoss family is, and just could not say enough wonderful things about what Megan has created. The only possible feedback I could offer is that I wonder if adding a treat jar outside might lure more four legged window shoppers in with their two legged owners :) More happy Ridgefield Runners, AND more happy Ridgefield dogs!

Perhaps it's better in-person, but wholly unhelpful when dealing with online items that have manufacturer defects after their 14 day return window.
Edit: Owner points out that it's over 6 months ago, when it was ordered 6 Months and 5 days ago, and were delivered less than 6 months ago, and were worn for less than 100 miles.

Went to try on some trainers for my mum who’s a nurse and on her feet all day. Gabby was incredible and so helpful in getting her what she needed! Will definitely recommend to everyone in town to come here!

I brought our new to track 7th grader in today, as recommended by his coach. It was Saturday afternoon and the shop was extremely busy. The ratio of warm and friendly staff on hand ensured our prompt and pleasant service.
Kyle took us under his wing and lead us through what can only be called an extraordinary shopping experience. This young man, also a runner, was very informed and offered his time and expertise to ensure our rookie runners feet, stride and shoes were measured, evalutuated and tested through a highly scientific process. At no time did we feel rushed or presured. I was thrilled to have both our teens there. I haven't experienced this level of customer services in ages. I was excited to have the shopping experience we did. I was perhaps even more excited for our teens witness this only slightly older teen provide such pleasant and professional customer service for the duration of our time here. Of course, when checked on by his colleagues, we shared how pleased we were. Kyle was humble and grateful.
This is my first online review, but something I am happy to do. We cannot say enough about our salesman, this amazing shop or the next level services offered. We will be back and will continue to happily recommend Ridgefield Running Company!

Had a great experience recently shopping for a new pair of shoes. Due to time factor, I kept ordering shoes online and realized of late feet would hurt. I got a feet assessment here and realized I was making the wrong choice by purchasing regular kind and I now needed a Wide D. Happy with my purchase and surely recommend, it's the experience and long time commitment with a good pair of sneakers that matters . They are knowledgeable and professional.

This is a phenomenal running store! All of the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the products that they sell and the craft of running and racing. They carry a wide range of shoes as well as clothing. They have all the equipment for doing scans of your foot and your stride to make sure that when you select a shoe it is the right one for your body, your form, your goals.

Most pleasant shopping experience ever! We had Shirley take care of my daughter who needed a pair of running shoes. Shirley had my daughter on a treadmill to observe her gait, looked at her arch and even had her running around the store to ensure fit and comfort. She was detailed and patient trying to find the best shoe for my daughter. Now I know why everyone raves about this place! We'll definitely be back!
