I called up to get some seasonal decorations from a local florist, I spoke with a person on the phone and I was told that the flowers would cost $65 for poinsettias.... mind blown.... I can't believe the prices here!!!! This is Ridgefield not NYC..... please adjust your prices to fair market value.....Thanks!

A "thank you" gift of flowers from a friend arrived 5 days ago. All flowers are dead or shrivelled except 3 carnations! I have trimmed ends and refreshed the water, so that is not the cause. The flowers, obviously, were not fresh. Very disappointing!

Received a Valentine’s arrangement. I have a floral design degree from NY Botanical Garden. The vase was tacky and did not work with the color scheme. The single lily in the arrangement was turning brown, tiny little mums, ugly pink carnations. It was just hideous and not even balanced in any way. This could have been purchased from a grab and go bucket at stop n shop. The person who purchased this deserves a full refund.

I was traveling the week of the Feb 13th, ordered a Rose arrangement for Valentine's Day from Main Street Florist, Ridgefield, CT to be delivered to my wife at her place of employment, in Ridgefield, about a block away from Main Street Florist, on Feb 14th. When my wife arrived at work on Feb 14th, the flower arrangement was leaning against the store front door, no floral box, no valium coverage, not even a bag, flower arrangement was exposed to the elements outside! If that wasn't enough, the Rose's in the arrangement were brown at the tips, and the vase did not even look like the photo on the web site that I picked out when ordered over the phone. Several phone calls between the Florist and my wife, it was agreed, the next day, my wife ended up walking the floral arrangement over to Main Street Florist shop, talked with the Debbie, who was not apologetic, lacked gratitude, and was unsympathetic to the incident, so my wife requested a full refund!! I followed up with two phone call attempts to discuss the situation with Debbie or the owner (Nicole) with little luck. I received a "text" from Debbie "refund was given yesterday but it takes a few days before you'll see it on your statement. No need to call the shop anymore to discuss". What a disappointment! It has been almost a year since my husband and I got married at our home, 09/18/21, that we purchased May 2021. And so, this review is long overdue, but it would be very remiss of us not to express our extreme gratitude. From the moment we met Deb we knew we had found the best florist shop in town! Deb was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. She listened to our ideas and made them come to life! Well before the big day we were sent a preview/draft of the wedding flower invoice to make any edits. The pricing is extremely competitive for the surrounding area and their attention to detail was excellent, down to the flower girl petals. I ordered my bridal bouquet, groom and father's boutonniers, corsages for the mothers and matron-of-honor, flower girl petals, arbor sprays and small bubble bowls w/fall flowers for hi-top tables. All the flowers were arranged so beautifully, and the communication throughout the whole process was on point! The morning of the big day Anthony and Val arrived on time to set-up all of the flowers. Although I was getting ready and did not have much time to chat with them, I saw them going above and beyond to make everything look spectacular- they even were scrubbing down the arbor to make it sparkle! My hubsand and I absolutely loved working with Deb and the Main Street Florist team! I even still have some of the flowers which I dried. I absolutely love them! Thank you so much for making our wedding day flowers! Forever grateful, Jeanette and Michael

I had to google florists as I live in Minnesota but was asked to send flowers for a work matter in CT and after looking through websites I decided to use Main Street Florists and am extremely impressed. Nicole was extremely kind, picked out an orchid plant for us, helped with the message, emailed me photos of the one she selected, emailed the receipt and was extremely on top of all follow up which I greatly appreciate especially being a thousand miles away. Very impressed with their flowers, follow-up, and customer service.

I've ordered my mother's birthday bouquet here two times -- and both times the flowers were gorgeous, beautifully arranged, and super-fresh -- lasted two weeks! The online ordering system is convenient, and my interactions by phone with the staff have all been pleasant. Very expensive, but great quality.

Overpriced and unimpressed! A friend sent me a gift which arrived with several of the flowers already turning brown. Not knowing the price that was paid, I called the store and a very sweet sounding manager did not apologize, but said she was surprised as these flowers just came in. She said my friend ordered an “inexpensive” arrangement, the minimum they will deliver of $60. Not only is $60 NOT inexpensive for this very small arrangement, but how terribly UNPROFESSIONAL of the manager to say that to me! She said she’d send a different arrangement the next day but she’d need the first one back. Not that I’d want to keep the first browning arrangement, but again, very unprofessional. The next arrangement arrived with the most flimsy and cheapest flowers that could be purchased at any corner deli. Really, really surprised and disappointed and will be spreading the word of the low quality and unprofessional practice of this small business. FYI..I never choose to write a bad review but this was so unacceptable I had to put the word out not to shop here.

The beautiful arrangement gifted to me was the freshest flowers I've ever received. Not only was it gorgeous, the flowers continued to open and stay fresh for well over a week. I would definitely recommend Main Street Florist.

Worked with Deborah to create a beautiful white and green themed centerpiece for our wedding. The centerpiece was delivered on time, the flowers fresh, and the design matched perfectly with our cake and bouquet.
