Very interesting history, recommended, book tour online

Was there for an arts and craft activity, did not visit the tavern museum. The grounds and facility are very nice; from what I was told this seems like an interesting place to check out.

Very interesting historical site within easy walking distance from downtown. I viewed the film on weaving & toured the grounds. Very nice people.
KTM&HC is a beautiful, four-acre site in the heart of Ridgefield, CT that preserves and interprets hundreds of years of local and national history, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking through interactive programs and events. Located on the National Register of Historic Places, we offer museum and site tours; exhibits in the Visitor Center, Carriage Barn and Gilbert Wing; and a stunning historic walled garden.
Our Business Office, located in the Visitor Center, is open Tues.-Fri., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
