Don’t care at all. I will think 3 times December close to winter time. I had rented out a car for my family to go to Florida. There were several things wrong with the car, the first being there was an oil change sign when I was driving. The brakes also had caused some issues when driving which is a major concern. The heating of the car also smelled when using it and I had to use it as it was in December and cold. I had also told and called about this car when I had gotten back. To which Jerry had said dismissed what I had said.

When I walked into the office, Chris greeted me by name and had everything ready to go. Incredibly courterous and friendly. I'm now a loyal Enterprise customer.

I was told where to park my vehicle when renting a pickup from the Ridgefield branch by the young store manager. I was told it was for insurance and I said my truck is insured and I like the spot it is on facing the road. He then said move it or I won't rent to you. I said keep your rental. Additionally, I have made four attempts through corporate to complain over a period of weeks to no avail and as a result I rented elsewhere and will never rent from Enterprise again.

Good people. ?Car quality was pretty sad.Tires out of balance.Tire pressure monitor kept coming on and I believed someone smoked weed in the car recently. ??♂️

A bizarre, very mixed bag experience this past week. Last minute needed a rental car on Tuesday, and was able to get a reservation for 4 pm pick up that day at the Ridgefield branch. Arriving at 3:50, I was greeted by a note on the door saying "gone for the day and will return 11:30" (they technically are open till 5 pm). A call to the Danbury branch resulted in "we don't really have a car" followed by "we can get you a pick up truck" (I had a reservation for a full size car) and "the Ridgefield people WILL be back by 4 pm--they are just out getting cars." Having already driven 1/2 way to Danbury, decided to turn around and return to the Ridgefield location, arriving at 4:15--of course, still no one in sight! At 4:20, the branch does in fact reopen, and I am now being offered a dented, scratched, fairly dirty Dodge Ram pick up truck--presumably the same truck Danbury was going to offer. Thankfully, the truck was mechanically sound and provided the needed transportation for the next 2 days, and to their credit, the staff on pick up and return was efficient and friendly.

Smelly Smokey dirty cars, car grinding and rubbing around corners, had to exchange it for a smoke box with low tire pressure as well! unorganized, very slow service. Pull it together people!

Jerry & Jimmy were very professional, kind / courteous and worked with me very easily to get me in the correct vehicle. I found this enterprise on my own after many phone calls after a bad experience with Danbury enterpriseBad experience with Danbury Enterprise: Danbury was automatically booked for me by locality. This is not the first time with this company that I was given a very random vehicle that I felt completely unsafe in. I had to switch out vehicles in the past due to this incovenience of not knowing what vehicle I would be driving till the last possible moment. Supposedly it is enterprise policy to not notify a customer of what car the will be driving, which I feel is a terrible policy - because you should know what car you are going to be driving for a few weeks out of safety concerns. You need to be able to feel comfortable in a vehicle first off for yours and your families safety, but also for the cars safety and others on the road. Danbury showed up with a rather large SUV which was much larger than my Forester at my local body shop, at which point I felt like I was dealing with a salesman who was trying to sell me stuff.. on top of the fact I def. did not feel comfortable at all in the vehicle. I go to make payment and find out that it is above the rate that my insurance company covers.. just like wow come-on at-least notify or warn me about that so I can tell you otherwise before you waste my time.Great experience with Ridgefield with Jerry & Jimmy: when I called Jerry was extremely friendly and was able to let me know what vehicles he had available right away versus Danbury who said they could not give me any specific information. when I got to their facility we then finally found a vehicle that would work for me. (it needed an oil change) and they had it taken care of it asap! The vehicle was very clean! Jimmy helped us with the final details, answered any further questions we had and also made a very courteous follow up call the next day to make sure everything was going well. That is top notch service! the type of service Enterprise should be proud of and only wish other facilities would follow in their footsteps.

Used these guys 3-4 times and always slow. Don't recommend. Use hertz in Danbury instead.

We had to get a rental car through our insurance company and Enterprise was excellent to deal with. All the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rental car was in great shape. Definitely would use them again.

Horrendously bad experience and we would never rent from this specific location (Ethan Allen Highway, Ridgefield, CT) ever again. We had a pre-existing reservation with them and confirmed that reservation a few days beforehand. When we got to the location to pick up our rental car they not only had no car for us, but did not help us get one anywhere else that day. Additionally, they eventually asked that we step aside for people who had confirmed reservations, which we already had.When we asked for a supervisor we were told to call the 800 number. Whomever the supervisor is for this location is allowing an extremely poorly run business to exist and has decided to employ a “manager” who could care less about customers.After I called the 800 number, as advised, no one called me back. To make matters worse, the location had one car available but it was above the class level that we had reserved so they refused to give that one to us at the agreed upon price of our original reservation. Good business sense and common decency would have made it an easy decision for them to rent that one to us at the same originally agreed upon rate, as they were the ones that did not honor or abide by our reservation and confirmation agreement.Whatever plans we had that were contingent upon having a rental car were ruined. The “manager” did not help us and was not willing to help in any regard. They never even called us back later that day to apologize, update us on status, or explain anything further. No one from the corporate offices called back either.I would never use this location ever again and after seeing the way that Enterprise completely disregarded us in regard to this situation, I do not plan on ever using the company, in general, again either.Enterprise has zero accountability and could care less about their customers.This is the worst rental car location I have ever dealt with and I have dealt with many different ones over the last 20+ years (most of which were pretty good).Very frustrating. I will never go near this location again.

Horrible experience at Ridgefield CT Enterprise. I went there to pick up the car-- I had scheduled-- and they were simply not there in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. I called a number they had at the door and the person who got the call didn't give me any assistance, and hung up on me twice. I had to wait outside in the freezing cold for an Uber to pick me up for several minutes. Really disrespectful. I'm extremely disappointed. I Definitely do not recommend this branch at all.

Booked a car for Nov 29 and confirmed it. When we arrived there was no car and no sign of one being available anytime that day. The young woman at the counter, also location mgr, said Enterprise uses a 3rd party customer service center and they didn't relay the confirmation. Seemingly, this happens often. She had a car in the lot, but it was a BMW and we could have it if we paid 80 more per day. Didn't matter that we booked and confirmed and Enterprise made the mistake. She could not give us the one car she had or she would be "in trouble." She said there was no area supervisor to call for help and our only option was to call the third party customer service center back to complain. We were assured she would call us as soon as a car became available for us that day. She never called. Dishonest from start to finish. No car. No recourse. No accountability at any level. Don't take the risk with this "business."
