Beautiful setting. Tranquil beach and crystal clear water. Just another reason I love Redding. If you're lucky you might see a bear or snapping turtle or all kinds of wildlife! First time here to see a local band band play and it was awesome.

Smallish park with some great view along with a lake that you can swim in during the summer. There are some great vistas along the trials in the back offering views of the surrounding mountains. There is also a small off leash area near the edge of the water where people can let their pets loose as well.

Beautiful forest park with a lake. There's a beach on the lake and a trail around it. There's also a small dog swimming area. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any pick-after-your-dog enforcement.

We hiked in January, a day after heavy rains. So there was no snow and it was a little muddy. But the trails were marked great. It was Rocky but not too many. They're a nice trail that go around the whole pond and other trails that go through the woods. The park had a separate doggy park where they can swim in the water. Dogs are allowed off leash in the woods. There was also one section that you can stretch out before you start hiking. We are out of towners so I'm not sure if you have to pay to hike in the spring and summertime.
