Not only have I been shorted multiple meds, but the staff here is all new but also so rude. I've seen some of the way they talk to people as well while I would wait for my medicine that they claimed was filled, said it was filled on the app. But got there and it wasn't even started on yet. I mean get with the program walgreens.. just because your under staffed and where there we need our medicine, can't be waiting around all day or half your night opening hours for our medication.. hello there is a little something called having a life outside of you! Also I canceled one of my meds.. first they billed me many, many times at so many different prices to add to that. But because they didn't process it through my insurance company needless to say.. well they will fill it, only to get money that they don't really need. They also fill medicine when they want too, not how the doctor has written it out or they will dispense it when they feel like it. I do get that not all kinds of medicines aren't in stock, really I do.. but once you get it in.. fill it.. give it out..Oh yeah stop processing outrageously cost medication to the insurance company.. get paid for it and it's not even ready to be filled..Oh another thing stop calling in for a refill when that medicine was filled by you and picked up. It kinda ticks off a lot of doctors trust me. I've had many of mine and other people that I know that when you do this.. these doctors get ticked off with the patient cause or how you called it in. Oh yeah it's not just this walgreens I swear it's all.

Wait in the drive-thru FOREVER and the tech says "We have to fill it, just loop around and get back in line" I called twice already and was told it would be ready today. Arghhh

After waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes I hung up. I need to get a prescription filled for my husband that is a compound prescription. That in itself is another story. I have put in a complaint with the main office; not that it will do any good. No one should be made to wait that long. This is a drug store. People need to be able to speak to a human when calling in and not have to wait.

Always very friendly staff. I never have any issues with prescriptions and they have gone out of their way to help. 2023, Just an update again on how helpful the pharmacy staff are. I changed over in the new year to a different medication insurance and they researched and found the information for me as I hadn’t received my card. Def above and beyond.

I needed a refill of Xarelto. I called it in to Walgreens Dayville on 12/29/22. The computer said it would be ready on 12/30. When I arrived, they only had five pills of the 90 prescribed. They could have the rest after New Years. My insurance runs out 12/31. The volunteered to call Walgreens in Putnam. Putnam had the 90 pills but it would take a couple of hours. I got to Putnam at the appointed time and they only had 60 pills! Apparently while they were "filling" my prescription, some one came and bought 30 of their pills. I said I would take the 60 pills. No! If we are not going to fill the prescription, we will only give you 10 pills. You can come back after the new year and get the balance! No amount of talking made and difference to them. They are the final word and your problems really don't matter. I gave them a one star because you can't give them zero.

Came to pick up medications for someone and the pharmacy was closed. I understand that people need to eat lunch, but a pharmacy has medications that can be the difference between life and death. Perhaps the lunches should be staggered, or someone should come and cover the lunch. A pharmacy being closed for lunch makes about as much sense as the ER being closed for lunch. In addition to this, the staff are always quite rude and that’s been my experience for years now. I choose to go to the cvs that’s further away because at least they are polite. I would give zero stars if I could.

Very friendly staff and they always try to have what you need in stock even though that don’t always happen they tend to refill stock pretty quickly. The store is always clean.

I think this will be the last time going to this store or Walgreens in general. My Husband went in there today for something for me and had a ridiculous time with the cashier. The item was &12 and change and he gave 3 &5s. She gave him only coin change back without the $2. He asked about in and got a big attitude and she said she didn't remember....really? She told him in a angry voice that she will have to count her whole drawer now which proved to be off more than $2. What an attitude she gave for something that was not his fault. Nope!

The pharmacy has had difficulty counting. They are the only place I know of that carry my medicine. Last time the pharmacist couldn't count to seven (I got a weeks worth), even though I helped her count the days. Today, after getting everything fixed, I went to pick up my month worth of medicine (they verified the amount on the phone), drove out there, and was told they could have only fill the 2 pills they shorted me last month. Get it together guys.

I went to the E.R. Friday night because I couldn't breathe. I was given medicine and a prescription was sent to Walgreens. Not filled that night. Yesterday I called in morning and afternoon automated system said working on it. Finally at 3:30 I called,it took time to get to a human! They had forgotten to fill it! By the time I got a ride to Walgreens oh now they close at 6, so no meds! Been up all night wheezing, can't get off couch! Someone will get at 9,it will take hours to work. I hope I don't have to go back to hospital! Unacceptable!

The Walgreens in Putnam CT is very poorly managed . They let people cut into line for Covid vaccine ahead of people patiently in line for scripts and don’t care when you finally complain about it like it’s an accepted practiceI will be switching to a different pharmacy because of your complete incompetence and inability to grasp a simple two line systemGood luck with your ineptitude I’m sure it will take you far up the Walgreens ladder
