They need to change the entire staff!!!? Mike and Jenny always seem disgruntled. Horrible customer service. Never a smile, very unwelcoming. I know working there is not fun but you are community members in a beautiful town. Treat customers kind. They are so rude and disrespectful. Have to drive to another town to drop packages just not to deal with these people and their nasty attitudes. I have had multiple incidents of this as well as all my staff. Be kind it's free geesh. Negative 10 stars

Worst post office EVER. Michael, Jenny, Beth, the supervisor ALL are miserable, rude, unhelpful, unkind and have extremely poor customer care. It almost seems like they have weekly meetings on how to badly treat customers. I've tried to give a nice greeting just to change the mood and service. Nothing works. I say have a nice day on the way out with no response. This place is ridiculous. They really need to change the staff. Zero stars!

Putnam USPS Mail delivery is horrible. I have trouble walking. They came and knocked on my door because they had a letter for me to sign. I yelled wait a minute. By the time I got to the door he was in his truck. He just knocked and put a tag on my door. I tried to wave him down. It he just kept going. Poor service

This Post office is the best around, they have all the services you need with a very friendly staff. Caroline was extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely gives the USPS a good look, I appreciate this office!!!!

EDIT: After having to go down to the post office to collect my mail and to find out WHY it wasn't delivered, I am extremely disappointed.I spoke with Louise, the Supervisor. Not only was she extremely rude, but she also refused to listen to anything I had to say and spoke to me as if I was garbage. And I was being NICE.Whoever is delivering mail on Walnut St. while our regular gentleman is out, is lazy. Pure and simple. I have TWO ways to reach my mailbox. Stairs from the street or my driveway. Considering the stairs are pretty steep, I would think the driveway would be easier.I was told they pick ONE route to deliver mail and that's it. So IF by chance there IS something wrong with my stairs, there is another perfectly good way to reach my mailbox and it's even EASIER!Based on other reviews being left, there should certainly be an investigation into the Putnam Post Office!!I WILL be contacting BOTH the Post Master AND Consumer Affairs along with the BBB.Louise should be FIRED.I HAVE to give one star, otherwise, you would get NONE!SHAME on you Louise!Damaged packages, packages, and mail not being delivered for weeks at a time. What the hell is going on down there??

USPS delivery in Putnam is ridiculous, its so unreliable. The VA sends my medication thru the Postal Service, as I am a disable veteran. They don't make an attempt to try to even deliver in any amount of snow. They claim the driveway is to dangerous in winter, But the business I share a parking lot with is fine for its customers. Now, I have a lost package of meds. The way I discovered this was, by tracking the meds with a tracking number, and its listed as undeliverable. No notice in the mailbox ( and that is StreetSide).

I went in too see I could send out my sons tablet, was rudely talked to by Michael. At the front. my client that was with me because I’m a pca to ask about sending back products and he wouldn’t even let me speak. Will never be coming back to this post office. Worst post office

I live on the Woodsrock/Putnam line. My mail comes from Woodsrock, but if it's a delivery on a Sunday, it comes through Putnam. The problem is that they never will deliver it. They always claim to say they attempted the delivery, but they couldn't access our front door. EVERY TIME! I'll get my package on Monday when it comes through Woodstock. I don't understand why Putnam USPS driver won't do their job. I'm tired of always being disappointed by Putnam.
