i scheduled a windshield replacement. Went and paid cash in person for windshield replacement. Windshield never got installed. Called to ask about it (Saturday) and the GUY who answered the phone stated that he was in his living room and couldn't help me. He was very rude and unprofessional. I may not do business here again. Customer service is what businesses should take pride in. I myself own a business and would NEVER treat any of my customers this way ESPECIALLY if they have already prepaid for the work to be performed.

They do nice glass work. But if you drive a car that's 2015 and newer I do not recommend. They basically turned my TLX Advance into a base model. My lane assist no longer works properly. Worst part was Acura recommended me here. Turns out there is a service bulletin on Honda/Acura not to use aftermarket glass. Well they put an aftermarket windshield in my car and now it doesn't work properly. I wouldn't have rated them so bad but when I called to let them know it wasn't working properly the guys response was "what do you want me to do about it". This place is a scam and I would never recommend unless you have a basic car. My car was $50k and now has the features of a base 30k car. Thanks for nothing. I'm scheduled to have the OEM glass put in so it works properly. I'll update this once it's complete to see if that solves the issue.

I called on friday and made an appointment for Monday morning (9-1) to fix my window. I took a vacation day from work so I could be here. At 9:15 monday morning, I got a phone call saying they don’t service my town anymore. After inquiring a little further, the salesman said they “don’t do RI anymore”. Yet, it’s all over their website that they do. Not happy that i was able to book an appointment and use a vacation day and then not receive the service I needed. Someone needs to get their act together!

No complaints thus far. My windshield was smashed on the highway by ice that flew from a car that did not clean before getting on the highway of course they did not stop. I Called Allstate glass dept at 11am and was immediately connected to Payless Steve asked if I could get there before 5 i stated I could. Got the car there at 1 and received a call at 3 that the window was in but it was the wrong one (My fault for giving incorrect accessorie info) Maria was very nice and accomodating offering to keep my car locked in a safe place until the new winshield arrived even though it was my error she was more than kind. The next morning at 10am my winshield was fixed. Payless will get many referrals from me.

Payless came to my home today and reattached my rearview mirror that had fallen off Sunday. Courteous and fast service. They are located in Hartford and I recommend them highly.

WORST SERVICE EVER RECEIVED. Its been 3 weeks and I still don't have my window fixed. They Are SLOPPY !!!!! 1st time they installed the wrong window. (Took off work in order to fit there window) 2nd time Arrived with the incorrect window (Also took off work) 3rd time, Installed what might be the right or incorrect window on my BMW COUPE, not convertible and removed my VIN and did an extremely sloppy job. Currently having my insurance attempt to transfer me over to a more reliable company. If I would have know about safelite auto glass i would have went there first. Would never recommend them to anyone, hopefully this other company does a better job and can fix the mess they had made. Currently status still not fixed.

"Maria, Maria" sang Carlos Santana a few years ago. Well if you want to meet her she works the desk at Payless Auto Glass. Maria will get you the prices, set up your work order and cash you out all with a smile on her face. My repaired windshield was done very quick and you can hardly tell it is there. All of the work was done at a very reasonable price. So if you want to meet a fabulous lady ( has boyfriend ) stop down at the Payless, Hartford South End.
