I should have read some of these reviews before I came here. This place is horrific. Sites are way too close together, two of the three pools are green and the store has nothing and the two women behind the counter never looked up at us or said hello. The only friendly person we meet here was the man who let us in at the gate. As I sit here right now the site two down from us has a DJ with music Blasting, it’s one thing to have loud music but this is crazy I cannot even hear my TV, and last night there were kids running around till 1 in the morning. This is far from a camping resort..it’s more like a trailer park…90% seasonal and they rule it.

This campground used to be amazing, what a turnaround!! Grill and creamery were closed, 1/4 of the activities as there used to be, the store was basically devoid of merchandise. Quiet hours are not enforced. The people next to us blasted music until 2 am. Children driving golf carts with music blaring loudly. There were several times the office / store was left unmanned while the 2 ladies rented golf carts or got ice, nothing in the arcade worked, and the staff wasn't doing anything about it. 3 pools were filled with disgusting green water while the adults only area was filled with small kids in the pool and no lifeguard on duty. The dog park was gone, the volleyball and disk golf fields were overgrown, and they were not set up for play.I've been coming here since the 1980's it's sad to see this place in such a sad state.

I really did like this place. They had things for the kids to do and were kind/welcoming. However they don’t have control over their guests. People go flying down the streets. Teenagers are driving golf carts, swearing at adults. They need to get better control over that.

Beautiful camping experience with tents or RVs. lots of family activities; bingo; swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, playscape, barbecue. Organized rec center. Everyone is very friendly and it's a relaxed, welcoming atmosphereNearby activities: Foxwoods casino

DO NOT STAY HERE! I’ve been to over 40 campgrounds in the past year. We full-time RV and I have never been treated so badly and disrespectfully by the office staff and the OWNER! Even the seasonals complain about the owner. I won’t bore you with the details, but do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. By the way the seasonals are very nice people. If I could give this park negative stars I would. Lol

I wish I could rate this less than one star. Strawberry Park is under new ownership (2023) and it has gone downhill FAST. Don't waste your money.

I stayed here for my first time this weekend (overnight 2 nights), with my husband, our 2 kids and our dog. Unfortunately, I will never come back. While the amenities, activities and campground itself are beautiful, the other campers ruined the whole experience. Listening to blaring Spanish music 24/7 is not relaxing or pleasant. Music starts in the morning and goes ALL DAY INTO THE NIGHT. Either we all quietly enjoy our own music, or we shouldn't have any music at all. Terrible. Ignorant. Not only was the Spanish music blaring at individual camp sites, but they are walking around with speakers as well. Out of control.

Been coming here for 3 years and it has been getting progressively worse each year. Sites poorly maintained, sewer pipes full, grille only open two days, lack of activities, disgusting bathrooms, virtually nothing left in the store for supplies, and no trash pick up. Clearly owners and staff do not care or know a thing about customer service. We will not be back.

This is our first and last at this resort/camp ground.. We rented an run down rv for 2 days. The rooms were filthy, disgustingly smelly. The water in the kitchen sink never drained properly, also leaving a foul sewage odor. No air conditioning or hot water. Thankfully the weather was comfortable without the air conditioner. Place is really run down, not worth the money paid at this resort.

Arrived campground trashed. I took pictures. Disgusting. After they got around to cleaning it up we calmed down. At 10 pm. A family of probably 12 came in to set up their tents. Waaaay to close. Flashing lights Spainish music blaring. We were asleep with our 4 year old. My guy went and told them our camper is light up by you and really music is allowed that loud. 2nd night I called security they said anything goes till 11pm. Talked with 4 families. We all said 1 and done with Strawberry Park. I wanted to leave when we pulled up. We go lots of places. By far the very worst. Please read the reviews and run

This was our first time at Strawberry Park. We ended up being in a camp spot in between the residents and away from most of the weekenders. Everyone was super friendly. My only issue is that if you don't have a golf cart, you really can't go anywhere. I would have loved to been able to try the pool and hot tub, but it was too far to walk. Hope to come back next year with more notice so we can rent a cart.

Look elsewhere! Several bad things about this campground. Camp site are too close together. They don’t enforce the quiet hours so the site behind us (permanent house) was playing loud music and partying until 3 am while we trying to sleep. The campsite was rocks so tent sleeping needed more than a bag. The bathrooms were cleaned regularly but they were a 5 min walk from campsite. The port-a-potty by site was not cleaned regularly and was gross by the end of the weekend. Activities that were scheduled like the magic show was cancelled last minute.

This is a wonderful campground I have had the privilege of managing evening security at. It may not be my personal cup of tee for my camping style, however it appeals for families or people who like to socialize. It is more of a resort feel.Lots of amenities, and family fun!

We used to camp at Strawberry Park under previous ownership. To say the place has deteriorated is an understatement. First of all, the lady who was working at the gatehouse was completely miserable. Like she wanted to be anywhere but where she was. Got to our site, which looked like it had about 6 inches of grass mowed within the last day or two. The grass was everywhere on the site; it was a mess. Spoke to someone in the office who had a dismissive attitude and said all the maintenance people were at their senior proms. She said they would "try" to get to it Saturday. Long story short, they never showed. We had to borrow a rake from a neighbor to make the site somewhat usable. The picnic table was in total disrepair and had a screw sticking up about half an inch. Managed to get it driven in. However the boards at the top of the table were barely holding on. It was pretty dangerous. In looking at other sites, most of the picnic tables looked in disrepair.Other issue was the "card only" policy. This didn't affect us much but noticed a lot of young kids who went to the store to buy candy only to be told they couldn't use cash. This was advertised as a "convenience" to campers, however it was anything but.My son-in-law left to pick up some groceries and upon coming back there was a line of about six cars waiting to enter the park, with nobody at the attendant booth. Finally one of the drivers went over to the unsecured booth and pressed the button to open the gate and let everyone in.The activities were few and far between. There were only a few chairs around the pools. Just a totally different experience to what we were used to at SP, where at one time we had considered purchasing a site. Thank God we didn't. I cannot imagine how those who own sites there feel, especially if they were used to the previous management.Just very sad.
