780 Worthington Ridge, Berlin“May not have everything a bigger post office has but Berlin is very fortunate to have a total of 3 post offices for such a small town. Gets the job done and for me very convenient”

115 Main St, East Berlin“Stephanie has been very helpful every time I come to send my packages. She answers my questions patiently with a smile on her face. Seems to know other regulars and calls them by name to greet them. Great customer service!!”

145 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury“By far my favorite post office, they are kind every time you go, and they are extremely knowledgeable, and will help you ship something as cheaply as possible. One thing to note is a few years ago the post box in front got broken into and things stolen, and there is no camera on the front of the building! So if you’re mailing something important go inside to drop it off.”

103 Main St, Durham“Awesome small town USPS. Parking isn't the best due to the building being built in the 1960's. Avoid the rush times 11:00-1:30, and 3:30. Frank and Kim are great at what they do.”
“Had a great experience at the Middletown Post Office. I am moving out of state, but had a complicated process. Ivan was so knowledgable and helpful. He came up with a creative solution that would ensure my transition went smoothly.
Shout out to Ivan...Thank you!”
“I use this post office regularly, and when I first moved into town I kind heave thought people weren’t as friendly as I thought a small town would be, but then I started talking to the people just a short conversation being friendly , and that’s all it takes. Think about it your dealing with a lot of people who just come to the counter and say maybe 5-7 words and nothing else hand a pkg over or letters , pay for them and literally walk away without a thank you or have a nice day. Think about how you would feel after 8 hours of helping people and many not acknowledging you.So the next time you write a review first think about how you treated the PERSON behind the counter!!Donna Benjamin”
“Was here yesterday (1/23/24) for a passport renewal. Asia was so helpful and kind. Was in and out within minutes. She was so patient even during the photo taking for the passport. Highly recommended for passport applications and renewals.”
“Typically efficient, and I'm able to get in & out in a reasonable amount of time.
Once in a while, they have fewer staff and if you happen to walk in at the same time as a bunch of others the wait can be longer. However, you can't plan for this.”
“Another post office canceled my passport appointment last minute and the newington office was the only one who would make time to process our appointment that day. Scott was very kind and super helpful. We really appreciate it!”

528 Main St, Cromwell“The Cromwell Post Office has consistently over the years provided us with great service, both at the counter and mail/home delivery. Our regular carrier, Dave, is a top-flight guy, and Jamie is kind and considerate. These folks are an example of fine, dedicated public service.”
“I'm waiting on a package, but I found out that packages are heavier this year than it's been in 30 years. I feel for those mail workers around Christmas.”
9:30AM - 5:30PM
135 Chestnut St, New Britain“Pretty busy but this place has really turned itself around the last 3 times I was in there. Each time the line moved pretty quickly and all 3 different clerks were actually very friendly.”
“These guys have been absolutely incredible in the process of locating my packages. The pastfew years I have moved around the state and dealt with many post offices across Connecticut, and Portland by far cares the most about the individuals in this town. Not sure if they got a new post master or what exactly happened because when I first moved here I was having some minor delivery issues, but they seriously go above and beyond to help people out and they deserve some real recognition for it.Be a decent human when you talk to them- they’re stretched very thin, and still are managing to do their best despite the circumstances. They risk their lives daily to get us our Amazon packages and Time magazine subscriptions. Thank you guys.”
