She refused to come groom my poor elderly cat, NugNug. I am 87 years old and my cat is 21. I am unable to get her out to a vet and it’s sad that she only wants to help young cats. Discrimination.

First time taking my Persian cat to a groomer outside of my home and was worried it wasn’t going to go well. I was amazed how Charlotte was able to handle him. He wasn’t stressed at all. I would highly recommend Rag to Riches.

Charlotte does an awesome job grooming my two small dogs. She is gentle, caring and no detail is missed. Her grooming center is clean and sanitary. She only has my pets during scheduled grooming times meaning they are not stressed out because they are crated for an extended period when other dogs are being attend to. Appointments are scheduled in advance at my convenience and my pets are always ready to be picked up on time. Most importantly, Charlotte is passionate about caring for your animals.

I have been searching for a long time for a groomer that takes cats as the vet will do it but it’s not very good for obvious reasons. My long haired boy tends to get all matted up no matter what I do but Rags to Riches did an absolutely awesome job giving him a lion cut. She also cut his nails and cleaned his ear. I will definitely be bringing him back. Thank you sooooo much.

Charlotte was amazing!!! She groomed all 3 of my mainecoon cats in under 2 hours. She was very quick and very professional. This was the first time my cats stayed completely calm when being groomed. She provides a safe & calm environment for cats with no other animals around. I will absolutely take my cats back to see her!!!

Just brought our Golden Retriever for a grooming today and she looks beautiful!! Clean ears and fresh nails. Charlotte, the owner, was so nice and extremely accommodating to my last minute appointment request..perfect communication through text! Super clean. The cut is perfect as we like to leave her fur long and we’ve had some bad cuts elsewhere in the past. Highly recommend!!

They fit my pups in last minute when my groomer closed due to flood. what a wonderful job. they only take one dog at a time which i love!pups were both happy and beautiful. I’m very happy and have booked again. highly recommend !

This was my sheltie's first professional grooming and my word, did he look snazzy! Thank you 1000x Ms. Charlotte for making my boy feel comfortable while you made him so handsome ^__^ He was in such high spirits that day and seems to have more energy without all that fur holding him back!! When my Maltipoo was about 6 months old we began to use Charlotte as her groomer. After about a year she moved to Florida. It took a long time to find someone to fill her shoes. So I was so happy to see that she is back. She did a great job on Ginger.

Charlotte has been grooming my Scottie for years. She moved away for a few years and I tried over half a dozen groomers and not ONE comes anywhere close to her skills. Scottie cuts are tricky and she does an amazing job every single time. Thankfully she’s back to Connecticut and even more amazing! I cannot say enough about her…she’s not just a groomer….she’s a magician! See for yourself…here are the latest before and after pictures.

I have taken my Luna'ray to a few groomers and Charlotte here was the best . My dog was comfortable and at ease and she was able to style her just the was I wanted..I even waited for her. Charlotte was perfect and calm with Lunas care .I definitely recommend her for your small pets.I finally found the perfect groomer❤️

What a great experience! Charlotte was knowledgeable and full of great tips for caring for my mini Bernadoodle’s coat. The cut looks great and we couldn’t be happier. It was easy to find her and easier to find ways to kill time locally until your pup is done. Highly recommend. Already booked our follow-up in 6 weeks!

Rags to Riches responded to me via text very quickly. I was able to get an appointment within just a couple of days. She was friendly and gives one-on-one cut, which is great for dogs afraid/who don’t react well to other dogs. She was done in an hour (I’ve left my dog for 3 hrs at other places where he sits in a crate as they do multiple dogs). They aren’t a true mobile in that they come to you, but I’m finding that’s true with many mobile cut places. My dog looked great and seemed happy!

Charlotte is hands down the best groomer around. While she was gone from CT. I had been through 4 different groomers before settling on the best of the lot, who was good, but nowhere in the same league of expertise as Charlotte. I can’t express how happy I am that she has returned to my area. Her work is perfection every single time. I never have come across a better groomer for Miniature Schnauzers!! All of our Schnauzers came out looking like show dogs. And now my Maltese- ShihTzu mix looks better than ever. I can’t recommend Charlotte at Rags to Riches enough.
