One of the worse companies I have ever dealt with. They have a loan officer Jose Vargas and since day one that my husband contacted him, it has been nothing but lues. Our contract money was being beeing added in sections that I need were illegal. I brought it to his attention and he said it's only and estimate . I again explain to him that he can not add money to the contractor's bid. It's illegal. By the way he added 16,000 to the contractor's bid I researched all of the fees they were high. I brought it to his attention. Near the end of this crazy deal we wanted to pull out but he kept telling my husband that we were going to lose our deposit come to find out our attorney stated that no that was not going to happen that he would put a lean on the house and no one will buy it. When we first did the contract Mr. Vargas chanrdg the purchase amount tfrom $90,000 to $100.000 I said why did you do that he said it would be better I said no this is the price that was agreed. Let me tell you that he made this experience a nightmare . My husband should of researched more. Jose Vargas is a lier and he will do anything to make a dollar. Luckily I saw and I have family out of state that is a underwriter. When we got the last contract I saw that the price went up again I said why did it go up Mr. Vargas stated that the taxes were wrong the previous owner was a WW2 veteran and he got a discount. I went on to the public records and saw that the previous own did not get and tax discounts so why did our taxes go up 3,000 more a year. I called my attorney she contacted them and I was right so they had to adjust everything again. When we get to the closing I noticed an increased made by Jose Vargas that we pay 2,5000 a month of rent so I had my husband call him he stated of he ahust that form we had to give back all the paper work and we would not close on 1-30-24 I said I do not care. If this is the case I want a written letter stating that the error was made and I want the amount corrected. In stead my attorney handled it well and problem solved . Mr. Vargas would not give us a better interested state because then he wouldn't profit from it or should I said make much. I would think twice before using Mr. Vargas as your loan officer .Thank you
