Love that place! I bought a fireplace wood insert there 2 years ago. Been looking and working great everyday, all winter, heating the entire house. Haven't used my oil furnace in 2 years! And their prices are good. One of the best things I've bought over the years, along with EV and Solar Panels. Living off the grid!! :)

A+++ company. Our experience with Dean’s Stove and Spa was nothing less than amazing. We purchased the Ravelli Roma pellet stove after visiting their showroom. We were in awe of their products on display, and beyond grateful with their 0% 48 month option which we took advantage of. The installers were early the day of installation and did a phenomenal job getting us up and running. When we had questions we called and were treated with 1st class customer service. A special Thanks to Chris is the sales department who went above and beyond and another special thanks to Kurt in service who walked us through fine tuning our settings. Highly recommended. We are warm, cutting back on oil significantly and are already planning a second unit in our basement. Thanks again !

Purchased a new pellet stove and the hopper caught on fire. No help from the service department.Kirt was the rudest person I ever spoke with. Non of the information about the cost being lower was relayed to me. I will be having a professional come out and look at the stove on Tuesday. Kirt was rude and i have no intention of doing business with Dean’s again. Needs to learn how to speak to customers and may explain why you score on reviews is 3.7. I had several errors come up on the stove within a short period of time and the auger was jammed on the first day with the complimentary pellets given at installation. Owned pellet stoves since 1996 with no issues like this. Both the fire inspector and building inspector said the issue of the fire was inconclusive. Combustion can occur rapidly and Kirt didn’t believe that the fire occurred that quickly. I’ve lost all trust in Deans company. Someone having a fire in a stove should of prompted a more compassionate response not the rudeness I experienced.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I bought a stove from Dean's years back. Auger stopped spinning. When I called for service I was told 6 week backlog. 6 weeks in the middle of winter??? Avoid them at all costs.The same thing happened a few years back - unbelievable backlog in service time. Either hire or subcontract.

Gary was awesome while servicing our Fireplace Xtrodinare insert. Professional and knowledgeable when troubleshooting and solving the inserts electrical issues. When he was done it’s like we have a new unit. Cost was very reasonable and problem solved which is more important.

I can’t say enough about how amazing this entire process was. From ordering my custom-fit Lopi wood stove from Chris to the installation, everything went flawlessly. The installers showed up early and were completely professional. They answered all of our questions about the install itself without complaint and took the time to walk us through how to use the unit from start to finish, even starting our first fire for us. When they left, they cleaned up everything and left the house cleaner than when they arrived. We can’t say enough about this company. We will, without question, be referring them to all our friends.

Very disappointed in their customer service times. We were having issues with our pellet stove the last week in December. We called and were told to shut down the stove and not use it. The service appointment was a week and a half later. The service tech came out and got the stove running properly but only for a few days. We called again. Again we were told to shut down the stove. Now our service appointment isn't until Feb. 2nd. That is 15 days away. Meanwhile, I go without heat in part of my house again while the temps outside are below freezing.

Briefly, happy with our new stove and customer care. Highly professional, attention to details what wood stove would work for our home and needs better. Chris responded quickly with the information we needed after the installation. The stove installation took less than two hours.

Unbelievable service; shipping and follow up! Received a call the day after; had 2 emails within 24 hours. Shipping to Minnesota next working day and delivery in 4 days! I was afraid it was a scan with all the attention and with the lowest price I could find be $200 for the pizza one! I'm a Doc and have asked my staff to make our patients care and "service" so special that they refuse to be cared for anywhere else and this service provides that special attention we strive for. Thanks to Chris and his staff!

I recently had service done by Dean Stove and Spa. My gas fireplace was not working at the time. Dan was the technician who came to my house. He is highly efficient and knowledgeable. He found the problem took care of it and the stove runs perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any needs you may have. We purchased the fireplace from Deans over 20 years ago. This is a testament to the great products they offer.

We were in the market for a wood burning insert for our fireplace and had visited a few different retailers to look at options. We met with Chris Scalia at Dean's Stove and he provided us a great explanation of what is available. While we knew what our ultimate goal was, we weren't quite sure which product was right for us. Chris was very knowledgeable and helped us select the Lopi NexGen-Fyre model. While we opted to have our own rep handle installation, the delivery team was very friendly and accommodating. It's been wonderful and we have already saved so much, with less wood burn and oil savings for heat! Bring on the New England winter!!

From the minute we walked in, to the current ordering process, Chris has been an outstanding help to us! We ordered fireplace doors that we received from the manufacturer slightly damaged. Chris has gone above and beyond to not only get new doors ordered immediately for us but to troubleshoot any measuring issues we have had. I highly recommend Deans for your fireplace needs! I was disappointed in Dean's Stove. I asked them to take pictures of the chimney liner connection because it was required for my building permit. They failed to provide the pictures after repeated calls. Then the inspector informed me that the stove is installed with improper clearance. The top clearance has to be fixed by purchasing an aftermarket heat deflector which is an additional expense I did not anticipate. I am grateful that the inspector didn't get on my case about the side clearance, which was out of tolerance by less than an inch. It could have gone worse with the inspector. There is always a solution to these kinds of things and I am able to work around them. My stove works fine and I was lucky that the aftermarket heat deflector I found is enough to make the inspector leave me alone. But it is an oversight on Dean's part and they can do better. I only went with dean's because they carried Lopi Evergreen inserts. If I need a similar high efficiency insert in the future I will try to find one somewhere else. Dean's needs to get better about crossing their t's and dotting their i's.
